Hello darlings,
Inspired by the Marquis de Sade thread .. over that way somewhere....

Who is the evil person you secretly desire... you hate admitting it.. (can be fictional or real)

I'll start - Joaquin Phoenix in Gladiator.. he was nuts but jesus that power....
Same for the guy Ralph Fiennes played in Schindler's List (I HATE admitting this)
Jesse James

next?

Aries from Xenia!!  All that violence (God of War), leather and his never ending desire to have Her!  SWOON.  Not to mention he kept that hot little slut Discord on a leash.......! (I HATE THAT I FIND HIM SOOOO DESIRABLE!) [sm=mistress.gif]

Not really evil, but Sir Sean Connery, as the voice of the Dragon.  Forget the name of the movie.
Dragon

OTKkindaGirl -> RE: purely evil desire (7/11/2008 11:53:29 PM)

Dragon Heart

edited specifically to let you know the name of the movie.  i don't believe that i have any purely evil desires.    But agree on Sean Connery.... all that man would have to say to me is "Drop your panties"  in that beautiful sexy voice of his and i believe i actually would right on the spot!  lol

KMsAngel -> RE: purely evil desire (7/12/2008 3:34:08 AM)

the tango scene in Moulin Rouge - roxanne's tango - the swarthy gypsyish lead dancer who dances with roxanne....

without him breaking my neck at the end, thankyouplease....

that one movie has made me vow to learn that version of the tango. vertical sex on the dance floor, yes please!

found this description in wikipedia. most scrumptuous and apt, yes? '...describes the music as the "all-absorbing love of a tyrant, jealously guarding his dominion, over women who have surrendered submissively, like obedient beasts".'

Some characters who do bad things, but whom I find desirable...
however, I appear to be too shameless to hate admitting it.  Maybe it's because they are more than just their bad side.

Dracula, of course.  The character in several of his incarnations.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is great at playing bad characters such that they are really bad, yet sympathetic.  As Steerpike, in Gormenghast, as the son in Those Magnificent Ambersons, as the troubled hustler in B. Monkey (and probably others), I have certainly found him and his characters desirable, though really messed up.

MARS, a Taiwanese serial drama that has been televised in the U.S., more than once, has an extremely seductive and very dangerous character in it, played oh so well by the beautiful actor, An Jun Can (aka Shone An).  What a passionate, sexy, insane masochist in love, he plays!  ah!

Actually, MARS is rather daring, in that even the romantic lead is such a mix of good impulses and sinister ones, that it's sometimes hard to say that he's the hero.  And that character's hot as hell, too.

[Ling touches Tong Dao’s chin, and Tong Dao smiles.]

Ling:

Thin neck…maybe…one hand is enough?

[Ling seizes Tong Dao by the throat, and throws him down, straddling him, strangling him with one hand.  Tong Dao struggles in earnest.]

Looking at people facing the moment of death, you feel happy, don’t you?

Then you should try...

You should experience for yourself, your own death moment.

How do you feel?  Painful, isn’t it?

Goosebumps all over the body,

Cold sweat,

Vision getting blurred,

Voices getting inaudible.

You’re afraid of death, too.  You’re so selfish.

Other people can die,

When it’s your turn, you don’t want to play anymore.

But it’s alright.  Don’t worry.  Very soon, you don’t have to worry about death, anymore.

After a few minutes, your body will be gradually losing any consciousness.

[Tong Dao’s struggle is slowing to a halt, when a cup crashing to the floor breaks Ling’s trance, and he removes his hand from Tong Dao, allowing him to roll out from under him.

As soon as he can breathe again, Tong Dao laughs, almost like crying.]

Tong Dao:  A moment ago, you were not playing, right?

Originally, you were just trying to scare me, but in the end, you were lured by the excitement of killing me.

[Laughing again.]  But I was really frightened.

I thought I was almost dead.  [Laughing with a little hysteria.]

Ling:  That makes you happier?

Tong Dao:  Of course I’m happy.

After 20 years, after so much hardship, I finally found the person who shares the same feeling with me.  An exceptional life finds a mate.

How can I not be happy?

I always think nobody in the world will understand me.  [Tong Dao crawls over to Ling, who still sits frozen and dazed over his own behaviour, and looks up at Ling, smiling.]  But at that moment, both of us found consonance.  Right?
