(Fast reply) It seems to me that the OP still has a very teen mindset - surprising, considering her stated age. I know when I was younger, I would get in trouble for doing/not doing something, and then surreptitiously try to work around the resultant punishment. I often got caught, or felt a guilty glee with getting away with doing something wrong. And then I realised that this attitude helps *no one*, least of all me, so why push boundaries like that?

Now, it could be that the OP sincerely is ashamed of her behaviour; she does say that she's relatively new to BDSM, and we all know that it's a bit of a learning curve. :) OTOH, she could be fishing for more attention than her Dom gives her. Or she could simply be deliberately courting punishment because a) she realizes that she needs it and/or needs firmer guidance and is acting out to make him see it, or b) because she could. Both are a sort of brattiness, I guess, but I'd think the former more acceptable than the latter. (Even so, simply telling him about it would've been much less incendiary, I should think.)

Then again, I'm not a Dom. :P But if I did something like what the OP did, I would expect computer privileges to be taken away or strictly controlled, at the very *least*.

On a less serious note, how exactly can a sub become involved in Gor without his/her Dom? Unless you mean on a purely theoretical level...

Greetings Masters and Mistresses,

My Master is requiring me to write this. He had told me that  1.) I was not allowed to have a collarme profile at this time;  2.) I was not to be involved in Gor at this time; and 3.) I am not allowed to open messages from certain people without his knowledge and permission.

If you made a habit of disobeying, I'd release you. If it was an uncommon occurance, we'd have a little chat, and I'd expect it to not happen again.

It's an experience, that's for sure! LOL. All the flameyness makes me unwilling to post in some threads, especially ones where it devolves into "I've been this, for this amount of time, and I say this is right and thus you're not right." I do not like serious conflict (though I'm all for bantering and mutually thought-provoking debate), so the, ah, mutual toe-stomping is a bit off-putting. (My toes are battered enough from random encounters with furniture and things laying on the floor! :D) On the other hand, a lot of the friendships and even interaction of couples is fun to watch... sirsholly and her partner, for instance, must have a lot of fun if they banter like that IRL, too. :D Also the somewhat mutual rival-baiting that goes on is interesting, too.

And hey, might be a bit confusing, but it's also fun. You people have an amazing collective and individual sense of humor, and that always counts in my books. ;D

I replied to one of the threads that got pulled but I'm posting here again just because..[8|]

Having read most (I think?) of the threads I don't see this as a Masters rules being broken kind of thing. Instead what I see is someone who is going to court over something and her being scared about how being involved with a M/s thing is going to effect that situation.

If I were having to go to court and I needed advice or comfort? I'd be asking too.
The difference is that I cannot imagine any situation where R told me to cease online contact.
If I needed advice and support that couldn't be found among my owner or my friends then I would indeed be asking people online.

From what I understand this is a new master to her, and she is facing a bad situation in a court room where having been a Gorean slave may end up being terribly detrimental to her life. If so then I am all for her trying to get information, trying to find a way to get her point across without sounding like some sort of kinky sex slave.

In the event that this is all BS I still don't mind repeating my words to her because it is possible that someone else may be needing them.
The best advice came from the Gorean thread and I hope it is heeded if needed. (just had to use those words together).

Explain things as being old fashioned or traditional.
Say only what is asked of you directly.
Ignore the impulse to keep talking or to try and explain 'things'.
Watch your wording, drop Gorean and BDSM terms.

involved in Gor?  I'd feed her sorry, disrespectful, disobedient ass to the lizard thing the Goreans feed their bad slaves to.  (I don't mean any disrespect towards the SANE Goreans here... it's just not for me, and I don't visit those threads)

In one of those lizard things aren't available.... kick her ass to the curb, preferably naked.  That way when the police show up to arrest the naked lady sitting on the curb, and she starts saying that her Master kicked her out only because he doesn't have a big lizard, the cops will take  her to the closest mental health facility.  That way the mental health facility can help you with your internet addiction - amongst other issues.
