Personally, I would go with a picture of the Easter Bunny. is to misrepresent oneself the only reason someone would use a pic that was not of themselves? i use a pic that is not me, it states it is not me, i live in a small town in northern ontario canada and because of the type of job i have i am not comfortable putting a pic of myself up, so i chose one that i have liked for years.

why is it that if i am not willing to show myself to absolutely anyone who happens to find CM on the net am i misrepresenting myself, the pics i show peopel i actually converse with are of me, why is it because i dont want to take out a billboard am i misrepresenting?

discretion does not equal misrepresentation.

well i had Colonel Sanders up for a bit because i love his gravy and all, but it just didn't suit me.  that's the only celebrity i would want so i'll just stick to my own pic.  i don't know, i guess i don't want to misrepresent myself...that takes all the fun out of things don't you think?

I don't think MR would include what you just stated in what he meant, but I can't speak for him. There are a lot of folks here that do NOT point out their pics are not of them, because they're schemers. I lost count of how many times I've seen known porn/fetish models used for profiles, and it ain't them, I'm pretty sure.
