Actually it's the crunch I like when munching (snacking) on radishes, lol.
Steaks are yummmm (as long as they are not over cooked),
but after a few of bites I am stuffed full

Why'd you have the radish on your date? He was lying down?

Hmmmm, HK and DA agreed. Studying astrology in a different way, we need to note this time. Regardless of what all these ancient assholes say, we know the difference between the apparent year and the sidereal year. The exact date and time of that post marks it as when the Earth did not stand still.

Now that we are in a new age, let's call it age of the spider, peace wil guide the planets and love will steer the st......wait a minute, the was aquarius, meant shit is you can see.

Back to finding something else to talk about.

I think Im fat, my husband thinks Im perfect... I think that if YOU think you are fat and YOU are unhappy with who you are then its YOUR choice on if you want to try to lose the extra pounds until you get comfy with yourself.  Im not crazy about my weight but its not a big issue with our relationship.  Diets at a special restaraunt are not good, all that planing down the drain so chick can eat a piece of tofu and a bean sprout... On the other hand if a guy says he wont date you because youre on a diet, well thats just stupid.  I think that if youre trying to better yourself then good for you, and a guy should be supportive of you no matter how he feels about it.  Its your body, you have to live with it the rest of your life.  A man is always optional. :D *wink wink*

Guys like skinny girls who eat like crazy.

Is that why we diet when we do?
I think the biggest reason women say they are on a diet is to prove to other people they are virtuous.  We harbor a deep shame that says we are not allowed to feel ok as long as we are the least bit imperfect.  And we must not let anyone else think we think we're ok either.  Of course, having confidence is much more attractive to men and other women.

If a girl or a guy needs to watch types of food, preparation, portions, etc for health reasons that is all well and good.  But if they bounce from one trend diet to the next it becomes a bore.  And FFS DON'T whine about how little you are eating and how miserable you are if you are being all neurotic and uptight and a general pain-in-the-ass about your food issues.

That was the first thing that i thought of when i saw the post topic... of course they're a turn-off, i don't even like going out to lunch with co-workers who are dieting! They're complaining about how they want chocolate, writing shit down in little notebooks, talking about going to the gym, telling you about cholesterol and triglycerides and trans fats and carbs and whatever mumbo-jumbo is supposed to be bad for you these days... Ugh.

A wise man, or perhaps a cartoon cat, put it best- Diet is just Die with a "t" on the end

And for what it's worth, i think most restaurant portions are too small... i end up walking out, thinking "i spent HOW MUCH and i'm still hungry?"

Well, there's stupid and counterproductive dieting, which VLCD's generally are (very low calorie diets) and then there's eating generally healthy, and then there's eating for specific goals like cutting or bulking while weight lifting.  The latter two do not resemble any of the popular methods of "dieting", and they are actually workable and effective for health and for life.

Great observation.  It reminds me of the really thin woman who goes on and on about how big her thighs are and how she worked out for hours and still can't get rid of the cellulite.  Gimme a break... she's either digging for the compliment (which I never give, frustrating her further lol) or she really *is* that shallow, and that's so unattractive and sad.

Confidence is sexy; needy is not.

Plus by the time most places get done dressing up a salad, why they're no healthier than any other dish on the menue. Infact some salads had way more calories and soduim and cholesteral than other considered non healthy dishes.

ANd for petes sake...if you are going to go on a diet...keep it to yourself...and educate yourself!! Rather than ordering a plate of bunny food in a restaurant know what is healthy and what is not on the menu...and dig in.
