I asked Her directly today and She told me that She wants to be referred to as Mistress, unless we are in a situation where it would be inappropriate or when my children are around. (BTW, it is She who initiated the use of capitals for pronouns referring to Her and lower case for me, at least in private between us. Though I use upper case for me everyplace else, I decided to still use the Upper case for pronouns referring to Her out of respect for Her wishes). In thinking about it, I realized that part of my reluctance stemmed from the fear that by calling (or wanting to call) Her Mistress all the time I might be subtly imposing my own desires for control on to Her, and that this might have been as much or even more part of the concern than my fear of limiting Her or our relationship. Needless to say I'm glad not only that the question has been resolved, and that it is She who wants me to call Her (and I guess think of Her) as Mistress. Now I have to learn to accept and get my head around the fact that always being my Mistress and loving me are not in any way limiting or contradictory for Her.

I call Daddy, well, Daddy.. around some friends i call him by his name when i refer to him.. but when i talk to him its always Daddy.. just the way he likes it He never calls me by my name.. unless he is talking about me with one of his family members then he uses my name.. but he usually calls me: babygirl (most times), girl, kissy face, princess, .... yet i prefer babygirl the other ones not really my thing... however, he is my Daddy and he will call me whatever he wishes to. With others (since im a switch), its always Ma'am A.S.

It would be My preference also to only be called "Mistress", and, as others have already posted, I think that can be a most endearing term. And it is often (or usually) reserved for only a very special relationship, so that might help you to get your head around it a little better. You are the one privileged to call Her "Mistress". Makes you special!

I call Him Master during playtimes and on message boards, but most often it's sweetheart or my dear, and in public with friends I use His first name. We are both not too fussy about protocol when at home. He will call me His slut when we're playing, but other times He uses Rayne, or even snugglebunny [;)] [:D]
