I was "given" as a birthday present to someone last night, and I have to admit that I had mixed emotions about it.

Has anyone else been given away?  How did you feel about it?

All in all it was a positive experience. There were parts i found very difficult to handle and wasn't expecting to feel the emotions i did afterwards. I felt very negatively about certain aspects for a few hours.
I would most certainly do it again though. [:D]

My Sir gave me to a friend domme for a scene for her sub.

He asked me if this was something i wanted to do, since it was not something we had ever talked about. He stayed in the room the whole time, and i enjoyed the idea a whole lot. In actuality, it wasn't all that much fun - a bit orchestrated, but then there was one guy and three women so orchestration was the order of the day.

I had no bad feelings from it, it just didn't do a lot for me physically. It was way hotter in my head. [:)]

i haven't been loaned out or given away....i wouldn't deal well with it at all because i'm monogamous and i won't serve anyone i'm not in a committed relationship with.

I've been loaned out quite a few times over the years.  For me the experience has always been rewarding, though not always for the same reasons.

Sometimes I've been a test dummy for a new domme who was being taught something in particular by my owner, or simply being allowed to follow her whims to become comfortable with domination in general.  It felt good to me to be able to help my owner to give this gift of skill or confidence.

Other times I've been loaned to a very competent dom or domme, just as a gift.  Being judged a worthy gift made me feel quite valued, and in some cases it was very hot playing with someone whose style I was not familiar with.

Afterwards I sometimes felt a bit guilty if I enjoyed it a lot.  That's probably some left-over baggage from a previous LTR with a jealous partner.

At one point in time it was a huge fantasy of mine.  Now it's something that I wouldn't agree to.

There are many ways in which one could be "loaned" to another.  Sexual, play or even service oriented stuff - like cleaning their house or cooking for them, etc.

My former owner wanted to do this with me and even went so far as to bring a non-lifestyle friend of his to his house while I was there.  I won't go into details about what transpired, but it didn't go far because I think his friend, although fascinated by me, was VERY embarassed.  And I was more embarassed for his friend than I was for me!

I came away from it okay because it didn't go far and because of the friends reaction.  But it could have been really bad for me and I know that, because I really never felt that my former owner valued me as a person, a woman or a slave.  So rather than have it be a hot experience, it would make me feel like I was nothing more than a toy to be passed around...... and I get the whole notion that this could be hot for some, I really do.  But I would think you'd have to really be secure in yourself, your slavery and your relationship for it to be a positive experience.  [sm=dunno.gif]

I can imagine the emotional roller coaster it can be for some.  Whereas others it would be hot, and for others it wouldn't be anything other than a "ho hum whatever" experience. 

It's not an issue with my Master because He doesn't share. 

I do hope that whatever happened in your case was positive for you cq, but no matter what, I'm sure it will evoke a lot of emotions, even some you weren't prepared for. [sm=flowers.gif]

Yup. I didn't feel one way or another about it really. I was serving my D by following an order (and it was kinda fun besides that). ~smiling~

She's always like that, don't worry about it.

I wouldn't share my girl sexually but if the right opportunity came up for her to be useful to someone else, I'd consider loaning her out for that purpose.

OP, yes (I was "loaned out" to a friend of my Masters for domestic duties fairly recently).  Master hasn't seen fit to loan me out for anything more sexually oriented, but, if he did, I'd waste no time in jumping up and wandering after whoever he'd commanded me to go to.  I find a really lovely sense of "I am pleasing my Master" comes out of being loaned to another.

My ex Master also broached the subject of serving him meaning that he may decide that i be given away to another permanently.  At the time, I was in total shock...I could not believe that He would play with me like that. 

Nowdays though, now I have more understanding of being a slave, if my Master wished it, i would obey.  I might grieve heavily, but eventually, I'd learn to serve (and even love) the new man that Master gave me to.

this is just my two cents!

I was loaned to various other Dom(me)s in my last relationship, usually to play with their subs whilst the Masters watched, but occasionally to demonstrate something, or play with the Dom(me)s themselves. I never had a problem with it, my Master was always present, he only allowed it with others he trusted, and I was allowed to say no at any point if I was uncomfortable with it. But on the whole, I found it very enjoyable, apart from the time my Master suggested I try switching on another sub, and when a Domme got a bit rougher than I was used to, but my Master stopped that quite quickly. I prefered playing with the other subs though, submitting to others made me feel a bit weird, even though it was really just another way of submitting to my Master.

The only time I have ever given someone away was when I thought that the girl I had (who was openly bi) would have been happier with a male owner than she was at the time with me.  She and a Dom friend of mine met at a club in NY, got on famously, and the only thing holding btoh of them back was the fact that she was attached to me. I had no problem giving her to him, they were both happier for it.
The ones I have collared to me... no. I dont share well.
