People tend to think that being overweight is caused only by over eating, and that's not necessarily the case. There's a myriad of health issues that can cause weight gain, and the wrong diet can make them worse. So, unless you're a professional, I'd leave it alone. I agree with this. It didn't work for me. I think Weight Watchers is good only if you need to lose a certain amount of weight, beyond that I feel you need proper medical supervision and a change of lifestyle rather than a change of diet. I don't think a submissives only Weight Watchers is a good idea. I'm a person, and while I'm open to mutual support of other people I don't see any connection between my need to lose weight and my being submissive. I don't need to be submissive when I go to see my doctor. I feel that these submissives are seeking support from others not because they're dominant, but because they're people. I'm of the firm belief that while your issues are part of who you are there really shouldn't be a connection between them and your involvement in BDSM or D/s. I would agree with OsideGirl above that many people think that being overweight is caused by overeating. Sure overeating and also a lack of exercise might be a direct reason why these people are overweight, but there are many different causes, ranging of side effects of medication through to depression, pregnancy in women, or simply because of genetics. Sometimes it seems to me that if you're not photoimage perfect these days you pay some sort of price, and overweight people often pay a heavy price through the attitudes of others which can be counterproductive and demotivating. Motivation is a key factor to losing weight together with self-discipline and effort, together with access to the right medical advice, a healthy lifestyle and diet and acceptance that your body can and will change.
