It would seem that Las Vegas is the most closed city in the country. That's if you live here. I am sure there are other places that are worse. But if you are willing, then this site and the Munches will work pretty well. It can be amazing how fast your BDSM world can expand when you are willing to give it a chance. I have attended munches for years, and in addition to having a pleasant social experience, I have been able to connect occasionally - and that is just a basic characteristic of life. We do not meet "that one" very often, no matter where we go to search.
And a search it is, indeed. For both submissive/slave and master/top, a great number of initiations of conversations must be initiated, to find and feel that satisfying inner feeling that tells us "this one" may be "right". Sad but true! No search, no initiations, no connections, no possibilities of satisfaction of one of our strongest needs - that's the way it is. What's that other one? On risk - no gain!
My conclusion: Be active on this site, and when at the "munchies". You never know what may give rise to a connection. I have watched several, no - many, subbies find their tops there.
Another notion: Be an active submissive. When you are "our and about", approach those who have the appearance of what you are looking for. Doms have the "look", and generally give off signals - well, you are a woman, enhanced sensitivities and all, and really should know about that! And be more active on this site. ... just a strong hint!
