Mine is kinda blank really... It was taken while I was half awake, so I don't think there's much of a look to it personally. Although "apparently" it's one of my most innocent looking pictures. :S It's not a smile, not a scowl, it's just blank.

I think I have one of me smiling in my profile too, mind you...

My current pic was an "emergency" when it was pointed out that my previous pic (which I liked) seemed to indicate that I was wearing a (gulp) Star Trek cossie!  NOOOOoooo....!!!!!  Much like the current pic, it only showed the upper chest and shoulders - which did indeed resemble Picard's uniform in that limited context, dammit.
 
The fem/subs unanimously liked my eyes in previous pics, something the current pic doesn't project at all....  It's on the "to do list" to get another pic done but still, what male smiles for a 'mug-shot'?

grins, this is actually seeming a fun thread lol.  I guess i am abnormal, i enjoy a Men looking umm fierce with that glint in their eye because i have came across many men's pictures wherein they look kinda cheesy trying to seem to friendly.  But either end of the spectrum there are ones that are coming off to me trying to hard in their pic, but heck its a picture and most are not just random but specifically taken.  My favorites are ones that look just relaxed with or without smiling.  I don't necessarily attribute a Man not smiling to a Man's mood -- i pretty much conclude that if they were pissed off, they probably would not be having their picture taken.  i don't know, lol to me i would trust a non-smiling Man more than a cheesy smiling Man lol.  Go figure.

Good point - I'd long suspected those cheery used-car salesmen weren't as willing to look out for me and be my bestest buddy, as was often implied....  Tha bastards!

I have to agree with the pissed off part.....the one that came up on the home page when I logged in today made my dog jump off my lap and hide [8|]   But, I guess a toothy grin that says, 'Hey bebbe, how YOU doin'?" would be silly.

OK, just kidding.  But honestly, that whole "domly" thing has always made me laugh in any context... work, whatever.  Ooooh, I need to *LOOK* more forbidding otherwise people won't know I'm serious.  Honestly, I've never really had that problem despite making  a real point of keeping my sharp pointy teeth safely tucked in until needed.

Personally, I'm put off by the guys trying to look mean and/or posed with a whip on their belt or every piece of equipment they own. I'm interested in WHO someone is first and interested in their kink second.

That's a fairly pointed characterization. You aren't just saying that they're not smiling, but that they look specifically "pissed off".

OK, i've been meaning to do a profile pic anyway.  Obviously, after reading this thread, I'm going to have to dress all in black, borrow a whip or some other implement of torture to use as an adornment, and put on my best dom-face.

Heck, if it's a thing, might as well do it well *laughs again imagining this pic*

let's see... black turtleneck, black leather duster, black leather pants, whip, dom-face, and some sort of serious background, ideally with fire in it somehow... this could be great fun.

It's true I look like a cranky bitch in my pics but they were for a domlydom shoot and that was the LOOK we were going for.  I am always picking on guys for looking so angry/constipated/grumpy in their pictures. 

The TUFFDOM look always makes me laugh, so the RS pics are favourites!

I always look pissy in my pics.. I can't seem to get the pissy look off my face...I  dislike my smile and it always, at least to me, looks fake...


But as for pissy pics on profiles... I rather like a profile with pics like that ... but then again that is me... if they are smiling like a dork then it would make me worry .. lol
