The qualities a submissive has is at the disgression of the domme. That is not for you to decide or question, really: What she wants is what she wants. Now take your focus off that and think about this:
BDSM, D/s, kink in general, is about bringing into reality a fantasy that we normally must simply imagine. For some dommes large, muscular men epitomize what it is to be masculine, and as such they do not want emasculate men because it ruins their fantasy of making a big, strong, masculine man submit. They see the power exchange as more valuable when the man they dominate is masculine, and see no value in dominating what could essentially be your average, submissive woman.
Other dommes find effeminate men aesthetically appealing, and may even view their demeanor and appearance as outward signs of their submission, or simply qualities that they appreciate in their men. They like their men less threatening perhaps, or more female like, for any number of reasons, just as those women who like masculine men have their reasons. These are just theories though.
You might find that the women who like large, masculine men to submit to them, when questioned if they like more effeminate men, will often vehemently express on how much better masculine men are and how cross dressers and the like simply don't do it for them. Often times words like "pussy" and "wimp" come into play, which when you talk to women who like effeminate men you will not find them using abusive terms to describe masculine men. Usually this sort of outward show of disgust reflects deeper control issues, but then again power play is the realm of control issues (in my opinion).
I don't think any of the women here started dominating men specifically for the purpose of wearing the accomplishment on their jacket like a badge. Pride has nothing to do with this (though it has it's place in power play). What I see in you, OP, is a frustrated young man who feels threatened by the "wimps" who already have dommes. Maybe you feel like they are undeserving of what they give and have been given, that you are more deserving because you're a young, "masculine" guy.
I haven't yet seen a domme on this site express that they want a "wimp". If you had more than 14 posts and 19 years under your belt, or maybe even just a few more hours spent reading instead of posting, you'd probably know by now that almost every domme here wants a balanced, intelligent man, who is effeminate or masculine to taste.
tl;dr: Different strokes for different folks. A "REAL" man could deal with that.
