<laughing till i cry> A WAITING List? So, do You have a lay-away plan too? Or perhaps a back order system? LOL: can we auction You off on ebay? Or is it more like a deli; take a number and get in line?

Pardon my insolence; but the idea just made me laugh so hard.

Hello There,
Tell her those who search through here with their pud in hand are just the wanna be fakers we all bear the weight of.
You have to take the good with the bad.
Block the losers and don't allow them to affect your day. It's not worth it.
Sincerely,
sub suzanne

LadyHibiscus -> RE: My slave (11/14/2005 8:31:51 AM)

While I often agree with the lovely Taggard, I have to add that some of us have a code of "non-poaching" (I hate saying "honor", the overused word) I have been in that situation in the past, and it is mortifying, since I have no desire to go after someone else's property.

However, it's a two way street. It's fun and easy to check out the color of the grass, even when one is wearing a wedding band or collar. It's not the domme's fault if the sub is running around behind her back.

The delete key--our friend!

caitlyn -> RE: My slave (11/14/2005 9:02:37 AM)

You know ... if I was your slave, I would go a completely different way with this.

Have your slave show interest, and ask for a picture or two of the newly under consideration dominant (insert mild sarcasm). When the pictures arrive ... just reply back, "Oh, you have to be kidding, right?"

I know that's endlessly childish, but people that deserve childish treatment, should always get it. [;)][;)]

Oh yes...I know there certainly are those who do what is right and just, and, the truth is, they are justly rewarded for their honesty with honest and true relationships. You certainly reap what you sow.

Unfortunately, I think I am either getting cynical, or I am opening my eyes to the reality of "the scene."

Reality ain't so bad. Just a whole new world of pain and pleasure.

Unfortunately CM does not screen users for integrity or intelligence. What a lovely place this would be if only they could.

MasterRobert1 -> RE: My slave (11/15/2005 8:43:07 AM)

A Code of Honor exists when a preponderance of the people wish it to exist.

stef -> RE: My slave (11/15/2005 8:52:58 AM)

I disagree. A single person can live by a code of honor and it has nothing whatsoever to do with anoyne else's wishes.

True, I believe they meant to say "there is no cultural code of honor unless a preponderance of people wish it."

We each have our individual codes.

I wish that were true........human behavior being non-Newtonian, I find that honest folk are more easily led down the primrose path! Since I am good at learning from experience, my dress gets caught on the brambles before long, though.

Let cynicism reign! <G>

perhaps optimistic realists are what some of us have become

That is what I consider myself to be. I try to see things for what they are, from as many perspectives as possible (not only my own) in order to get a broader scope of reality. However, I know that the outcome will be heavily weighted by my attitude, so optimistic will definitely work in my favour!
