Know the source of your fish, some farm-raised fish is worse than wild-harvested. Learn about the different types available in your area, try them if you can, explore different recipes and methods of preparation, i.e. there's more than just frying or broiling them. Me, I'm a sushi lover and eat my fish raw which I know a lot of people don't like. [:D] I also love a good poached salmon filet with hollandaise sauce which probably ruins the healthiness of the salmon. Or sea bass..... Oooo, before I forget. Make sure you trust the source of your fish. There have been reports that some places have sold cheaper fish as more expensive types, knowing that people can't tell the difference if they look similar.
