i'll do my rain dance for you and see if i can draw the rain my way (unless, of course, you live my way and then it won't help anyway) since i'm working the next 4 nights anyway so i'll either be at work or at home sleeping.

Thanks, that would be awesome. The party is up north so that should work! There's nothing worse than a soggy hayride....especially if it's too wet for the bonfire after. And I don't even want to think about what a bummer it is to sleep in 40 degree weather in a wet tent.

closest thing to camping we do is with a camper, complete with heater, stove, fridge, running water and a toliet.  Tent = hard limit lol

Ok, i'll do the rain dance. And camping, in general, is a hard limit for me - unless it involves a hotel at the end of the day. i need a soft bed and warm, running water. lol

Wow, I really hate to admit this now but.....it's MY tent and it was MY idea to sleep in it.

Ok, going to add county roads, residential neighborhoods and any road running along side a field in which local city cops are chasing a suspect..shining their spot lights looking for the *perp*

Last night, driving home with Mistress we came along one such field.  Seems the cops were out searching for someone breaking into barns. Cruising through the fields, spot lights on... and sent a 7 point buck fleeing right in front of my car. 

Had no where to go, an oncoming truck, the buck or the ditch.....  so yup, pj bagged a buck last night [:(]   Guess my crazy uncle gets his venison again this year.  As if hitting it wasn't bad enough.. having to send a cop to shoot it because i know it's hurt and going to suffer..... yea, ms animal lover herself had to ask for one to be shot.  [:(]

Will find out Monday if they are going to try to fix my car or just total it out [:(]

lol anti snow dances are done in funky flip flops preferable to a jimmy buffet or beach boys tune........ actual snow dances must be done in a parka, thermal undies, and snow boots.

Ps. PJ, I hope the car is not too bad, and glad everyone except the poor deer is ok.

PJ I am so glad that you weren't on a freeway when you hit that buck, I'm sorry for the emotional trauma.. its always so icky when things like that happen.
Jeez I wish you could send me some venison (and some autumn leaves, yes yes I'm still begging people for some Michigan color.. I am terribly homesick today).
