eww Christmas in florida is just wrong. Did it for 40 years and will take the crackle of the fireplace, the snow reflecting the lights, along with the smell of fresh baked goodies (too hot in florida to bake.. even for xmas) anyday :)

And we DID have snow last night, at Mistress' house :) Not enough to have a decent snowball fight with but was still pretty (ducking)

Stillllllllll waiting on the adjuster, think the idiot is on vacation or something. "Like a good neighbor" my ass... if my neighbor took 4 or 5 days to come to my rescue... i certainly wouldn't call them a "good neighbor"

Hopefully this fool at least has some engine knowledge because the heavy damage is all engine. Something about dropping a 250+ pound object dead center of a hood because the deer was mid leap when it landed on my car....

This veg head ain't touchin none of that "meat". It's being shipped off to my crazy Uncle.

We're all fine, spent today cleaning out my car, taking bucky to the butcher and getting the ingredients for buffalo wings since my football team lost over the weekend. ~sighs~ things will start getting better soon

I am allergic to flu shots. Luckily, I rarely get the flu anyway.

STILL NO SNOW HERE!!

It is still freakin cold. This transition period is absolutely the worst, I just can't get used to it. Maybe I should have worn socks today? Oh well, I am INSIDE for the rest of the day!

umm no, not the lions but lol almost as bad.... Ya see, hubby HATES the buffalo bills and well, i found that out ohh 23 years ago and became their #1 fan.

Got a little tough admitting that after the four straight superbowl losses..... but if it ruffles his feathers...

Goooooooooooo Bills!!!!!!!!!!

and no, still no snow at my house... but Mistress had a few more flakes. And no, the flake wasn't me showing up .. i'm still stranded without a car

no snow here, but it's coldddddddddddddd.
I still have a house full of people and pets, as some of you already know, I am helping out a friend who's fiance dumped her, out of the blue, she barely makes enough to pay her rent, and he had all the utilities maxed, and turned off, so she has to save up enough to pay every thing off before they will turn on her eltric., water, &gas. She is working with different state aid, but until everything is fixed, she her three children, the dog, the cat and the fish are staying with me & hubbypet.
So this has been a stressful month....... arggggggggggg I never knew how small my house was till 4 other people, a hyper 1 year old dalmation/english setter, and a manic cat moved in. The fish don't seem to bug me much.....lol
on top of that as a bonus one of the children ( damn little germ breeders) brought me some flu like bug home and I have a fever, and aches all over.
is it undom like to whine? lol
hope everyone is having a great day and week, I am off to drink some chicken broth.

A beautiful day in the neighborhood! Good thing I wore socks to work (along with my OTHER clothing, Ray!) because the office where I was teaching had NO heat!

I am Ontario bound for the next two days, so have fun! Alexandra, you have all my sympathy, the flu is a circle of hell! But you are being a wonderful friend, so use that to advantage and make her use her kids as your servants.

The great pumpkin brought us a beautiful day and what's looking like a gorgeous fall weekend!! One part of living in the country, no trick or treaters

but the upside to it is we get to eat all the candy that isn't passed out.

Ms Alexandra i do hope You are feeling better and able to get out and enjoy part of this beautiful weather.

Ray, bring me the left over brussel sprouts, this veg head loves them.

I've been thinking of moving up north, but y'all have that nut freezing winter coming up. Brrrr

The last few nights here in south Florida have been cool and that delicious aroma, almost like wood fire, has been in the air. Makes me a bit nostalgic for northern fall.
