I got a little lost there between the profile writing and the mail writing that I had to go back and reread the actual OP. You didn't exactly mention what you are writing when you are contacting people. Don't get Me wrong, having a decent profile is important, but if what you're sending via email are just one liners, or things like "hello" or "you're pretty", the person on the other end probably isn't going to look as far as your profile. When I get any of those kind of things, it's not likely to get a response. If you seriously want to talk to people around here, when you write to them, find things that you have in common to discuss. Read their profile and say what attracted you to it. Say why you are contacting that person in particular. You don't have to write out your whole life story, just a few lines. Make sure your spelling, grammar, and punctuation are correct. Skip the text speak and the slang. They aren't popular with most Dommes. I hope this will help.
