ORIGINAL: LadyHibiscus I looked up Wobbly Kittehs on Google....how SAD! I knew that it was ataxia, but the whole incontinence thing, WHEEEF! Jilly and Jolly have the Best Mommy EVAR!! Thank you, LadyH, but these 2 have NO incontinence issues, NO issues at all other than they topple over on occasion if they get up too quickly. If only I had a camera that could capture Jolly's ability to LEAP into the freakin air...............it's so incredible! Imagine a cat on all 4 tippytoes, jumping from side to side, LEAPING into the air...2-3 feet from a standing position just because he spots his sister "stalking" him and he waits for her to pounce, then LEAPS up...........so incredible for ANY cat much less a "wobble" kitten!! Below is the note I sent to the Rescue group who found my babies.............. *************************************************** I wanted to let you know that J & J had their 1st appt. w/their forever vet on Fri afternoon and passed w/99.9% flying colors. What prevented the 100% rating you might be wondering, is Jilly's eye. After being examined by 2 Dr's it was determined that if she could see at all, it was just a very minute amt of light. Her other eye is 100% fine and they don't anticipate any problems w/the over compensating. Everything else was spot on! Jilly was the calm one, just lying there, letting the Dr. do her examination. Jolly on the other hand, decided to vocalize his displeasure :)) He spotted Jilly on the floor, wandering while he was on the exam table and he actually hissed at her! I've never seen him hiss before! I've heard Jilly growl 2 x's but that was very early on when the came to me and only when Jolly tried to sniff at her favorite toy at the time…lol The Dr. said their heart rates were normal and it was surprising considering that most animals are scared at the vet's and that makes their heart rate increase….but not J & J! I've attached a couple of pics that I took while we were waiting for the Dr. Jolly found the door going out to the waiting room/he perched right there awaiting escape. Jilly is waiting calmly :)
