I would say there is an exception: spice wine or jalapeno mead. Both are really sweet to drink when you can get them, and they make skin taste rather delightful.

I eat spicy food all the time but never notice an endorphin rush [8|]

I don't have time to read the entire thread, but I have found that "Hot & Spicy" foods do make me more aware of everything about me in that my senses are heightened similar to Zen meditations or actual pain, all differing in approach but with the same result. For this reason I have in the past used something like chili to fire my awareness levels up and caffeine to kick adrenaline when I have been fatigued and preparing for combat (red meet gives me the protein needed too all if taken prior so they all kick in at the appropriate time). However I have watched chocolate work wonders in sexually arousing not only myself but female companions. I like the use of differing foods to manipulate these results as part of my deviousness and not so devious playing.. .

I am not big on spicy foods except i sometimes put cayanee pepper in the coffee prior to brewing, then add a drop of choc. syrup. I also love horseradish. I drink apple cider vinegar and honey with water but that isnt for endorphins, just health reasons.

Better than lemonade or iced tea on a hot day.
I drink it also: add the hot water and sweeten to taste with honey, great when you have a cold and even better with ice.

Hot day give me plenty of water at room temperature to quench thirst, or hot lemon tea and for pleasure a long cold sherry shandy....

My wife and I used to have the 'make the girlfriend cry' test: if one bite of a dish was enough to make her cry, then it was just about hot enough to satisfy me.

Where would you get that? That sounds like something my husband would really like!

I discovered, and I remember this very clearly, a series of references to treatment of black slaves where the wealthy plantation owners rubbed chili pepper into their hapless slave's kitty, as punishment for some presumed infraction. (Oh, to have lived in a prior day and to have my very own slave girll ....ever since then I've wanted to try this on a willing subbie )
This part probably should have stayed in your head, I'm thinking. M
