Am curious if there is anything similar emanating from the Republican side. (Besides Dobson's statement early on that he would not vote for McCain). Is there anything resembling this sort of grass-roots effort to foment intra-party rebellion within the Republican camp?

Celt, what I'm personally seeing and hearing on the R side of things is grim resignation. The fringe doesn't seem to be getting any bigger. As for the deserting Dems, I'd love to see somebody drop the race card on them in a big way. Accurate or not, it would be fun to watch.
