Out of curiosity, is there a way to view someones profile without showing up on their "who's viewed me"   I ask because I seem to get messages from people that say they liked my profile but do not show up on the list of who's viewed me.    Which makes me wonder if they really looked at it :P

You can see a lot without doing a "view full profile".
They may be giving you a line of crap too.

Can't people have their profile hidden, and as such would not be on your viewer's list?

Just put their name in your search box on the other side and it will let you view the profile without showing up on their "who's viewed" list. That way you can still "browse" their profile but the pictures will be smaller

CD.

If you put their user name in the search box or even if you pull any search, then highlight the user, they should come up on your homepage at the top.  You can do everything there that you can do in full profile but view their interests. For that you need to pull their profile and in that case they will see you have viewed them.

Someone once told me, write down those profiles.....log off.............sign in as a guest, view...........no harm, no foul

It can be done much more efficiently by keeping two different browsers (say, Internet Explorer and Firefox), one logged in, and one not, but of course kc692's explanation is best.

But though full-sized, the "guest view" will only show the profile picture, and not any additional pictures. It will show "friends" though.

I do it al the time with the search box thing. I usually compliment photos, but I almost never show up on anyone's viewed list.
