i can usually emulate "normal" to +/-15%, at least until the conversation turns to political theory or sex... then i'm just kinda wandering around in the parking lot. [&:]

What IS normal? i can pass for normal in everyday life... heck - most people are surprised the first time they see one of my tatts... but i have no desire to follow the crowd so i prefer to be my own person...

the one thing I am sure of...anyone that knows me will gladly tell the rest of the world " he is not right"..I tend to create my own path in life...there is not many words in the human language that I have not been called at one time or the other ... but here is the thing.. I embrace it daily . soo if you want me to say what degree I am off....180 .. if you have a map leading you north.. I am probally headed south lol

I've always felt just a little of a degree off.  I wonder if kinky people who feel that way in their every day lives are able to find acceptance easier in the bdsm world than in the vanilla world.

not.

Maybe... and maybe not. The truth is that the first 'acceptance' has to be the acceptance of the self... the bright face that the common world knows, and the shadow-foil, where the desires that are frowned upon when expressed in the "bright world" are expressed fully, embraced, and accepted.

Until we accept ourselves, with all of our eccentricities and idiosyncracies, it will be near-impossible to find acceptance in a community beyond ourselves.
