KnottyMcLovin -> Impact Toys...Where to start? (7/20/2008 10:52:01 PM)

I'm trying to develope a toy bag of better impact gear, and my subbie, who is wonderful, has tastes that seem to be developed by experiences she's had with things around the house. I too have been experimenting with everday stuff we can get at the hardware store, etc. but we need to build or tool box. What kinds of things do, or did, you find best for impact play when you first started out. I'm thinking of a well made elk skin flogger, not to expensive. We have a riding crop, a wooden paddle, wooden spoon, rubber spatuala, feather duster, cuffs, cat'o'9 woven out of rope, and a plaited rope I use as a quirt at times. From there I think a short deer skin 50 strand flogger for fluffy warm ups a, then maybe a tomcat/galley whip type thing with elk or cow to go from light to intense, a rubber paddle, a bamboo or wicker cane, and bull leather/ rubber mop for super thud, and finally a short single tail with a wide fall. like a 'slapper whip" on Mr S http://www.snakewhip.com/catalog1/Adult-Toys/c36/p105/The-Scorpion/product_info.html What do you all think?
