Some things can not be helped. Myself, after reading her speech and seeing a picture have become violently ill, and I am not sure that was her intent.

It's important to check out the source. The "witness" here not only has suspect credentials but she's been been linked with far right groups for quite a while. Even her "Institute" is now out of business.

Well, Captain Kangaroo used to be the clown on Howdy Doody. I guess we're all clowns in the end.

I always wanted to do the daughter witch on Howdy Doody. I don't remember her name.

Captain Kangaroo was also a battle-hardened marine sergeant who led his men into battle in WWII. He has been referred to as 'one of the bravest men I ever knew' by another marine who also won the Medal of Honor for bravery and received a Purple Heart for injuries during that battle. (I wrote this because the original comment wasn't worth answering anyway.)

Ok guys here's the drill.

1). You now officially do not have to hide your porn magazines under the bed, in the attic or in the garden shed.

I ran into this book in Barnes and Noble the other day:

Pornified : How Pornography Is Transforming Our Lives, Our Relationships, and Our Families

The author isn't associated with the religious right in even the slightest degree.

I didn't buy it, or read the whole thing, but I read enough to find it sobering and insightful. Anyone else here read it or heard of it?

Yup, know of it. Skimmed bits, and disagree with lots of it. Mostly because I'm of the school that pornography wouldn't have the effects it does if we'd quit mysticizing sex and creating a cult around a natural facet of human behavior with natural deviations in all forms.
