Well I am really looking forward to meeting you too. It also might be a case of having just not "formally" met. I've haven't gotten down to the Detroit area as often as I do the other parts of the state...Lansing, the western part of the state. I am most active up north here and Flint. Sterling Heights a few times, ChatOhs a few times...I've only been to Wicked once and it was in a different location than it is now. I have been enjoying getting down there now to the Space parties. I never really liked to do the drive to Detroit...especially when I was single. Sir doesn't mind making the trip down so I'm really enjoying it. Hopefully we'll get to meet soon...but you will have to come up and say hi (only because I won't recognize you by your legs!.....lol)

I've met about 30 - 40 people from CM and they have all been interesting to get to know. Some were just as I expected and others were a surprise. A lot of them were at my birthday party/meet & greet in May, and some were people I had met before at the club or other events in the DC area. A couple were so much fun that we have had dinner and other get-togethers since. I would love to meet more of you great folks.

It's all good, pretty kitty. We arranged a meet & greet party in conjunction with my birthday party at the club. Several of the posters from the boards were there as well as many from the flip side. It was a blast! We had our birthday party list, and then it turned into "if you know anyone from CM who you think would like to come, invite them and we'll add them to the guest list." We did, and it was a great time. If you come stateside, kittin, let me know, there are many people nearby who would love to meet you, too, I'm sure. (I know I would.)

Reddy, I've been in NH since April 2007! I realise it's a little out of the way, being rural and so up North... this is why I still haven't met anybody (not for lack of opportunity, mind you - I nearly got to meet Empy in Boston, but that fell through).

I would JUMP at the chance to get together. And a few others too

We've met more people than we can count from CM. Wouldn't begin to try and name them because there is no way we'd include everyone from our time here. Most local, but a couple visiting LA from Australia would qualify as the most distant. When we organized a Vegas 'fly-in' for CM folks we had people come in from upstate NY.

It's been a wonderful experience. We often get mail on the other side asking how to meet us. It's easy - name the place and time and we'll be there. Better yet, and without the 'pressure' of one-on-one contact - come to any of the local munches we regularly attend. We love socializing and CM has been a wonderful resource for that goal.

The computer is a door. CM is a key that fits the lock to our desired destination - meeting people. The fact that it's free and provides great entertainment value is a bonus.
