How should I subdivide literture. Lines are blurry. Niven and Bradbury are very different but both are SF. What of Rushdie? (Haroun and the Sea of Stories was SF too.) Technically Vonnegut is SF too. Whodunits run from Agatha Christie to Raymond Chandler. (From "C" to shining "C" [:)]) Breaking down by author is a lot of work and many will get 0%.

Any ideas?

alphabetically, according to author?

just kidding.

i don't know all the fine intricate divisions of mystery or sf, but i would appreciate a Russian lit and/or pre- 50s British lit section, if there are any else who would indulge me....

I like Dean Koontz, Steven King, Andrew Greeley, Sue Grafton, Nevada Barr and Jan Karon. Fluff. If it's got a graph, I know I don't wanna read it!
