MasterofScyn -> Yet another collar hunt Q? (7/23/2008 5:08:58 PM)

I am looking for a really nice corset collar *posture collar*. I've been looking at site for the better part of the morning and haven'tquite found what I'm looking for.

i'm a tall girl and been working really hard at getting my posture back to theway it used to be. *let things go for while there [&o]. And now I think i'm ready for a collar that will make my height stand out a little more. I think a corset collar would be perfect that.

I like things that are unique, so chances are it would be custom made. Hell even my every day collar is unique.... very unique ... a tattoo of some dragons.. I'm very proud of it, it is almost done too. [sm=yahoo.gif]

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions on where I can go or perhaps if anyone here makes them I will be most appreciative. Oh yea, don't wanna have to pay an arm and leg for it either.

The Madame S web site had a lovely one, as I recall.  I can't send you a link because they block their web site where I work (bloody prudes), but if you do a keyword search on the Madame S site, you should be able to find it.  As to costing an arm and a leg, you may have to sacrifice one, but I don't think it will require both.

I would also suggest extremerestraints.com  They can be a little bit on the pricey side, but, they have excellent quality product there.

http://www.staylace.com/retail/shoppe_lnl_lace.htm

This corset shop has a GORGEOUS one in lace (leather seems like it wouldn't be as effective at the actual posture thing), and it will barely cost you any body parts.
~edited to add: she also has some nice looking leather ones on there, and seems amenable to special orders~
The idea of a posture collar scares me a bit because I get squicked by constricty things and my posture ain't that good, but I totally want that.

Thank you guys for the wonderful links. I have glance at them and even seen some of them while I was searching this morning. Wasn't sure of how good they really were though. Looks like I'm going to give the sites a shot and see what happens. Master really liked the lacy ones. We'll have to have to find out who does customised work or not. i have a design in mind just need to get it out there. =)

Thank you again, this was very helpful.

My answer for custom tooled leatherwork of that sort would be to talk to Master Archer and Elegant of www.fantasiesinleather.com

They both do such amazingly beautiful custom work.

Also take a look at: www.marquis.de . They have a few pretty extreme rubber posture collars.
