Excellent!

I actually have gurney that was a cast off from a funeral parlor.  Freebies are the BEST!

Not priceless yet... hopefully this weekend! [8D]
Right now it's sitting out on the side of the house while i try to figure out how to get it up the stairs [:D]
Sucker's gotta be in the neighborhood of 200 lbs, with no casters, and too big for my hand truck

I know the stirrups come off but after that you are on your own as far disassembly goes. [:D]
Have fun!

*giggle*  Sounds like my dentist chair!  I'm not moving that SOB again until I get my proper dungeon set up.  At least my ideal spot is in the basement with an exterior door.  I don't have to worry about stairs.

Best of luck to you on that!  Hope you don't 'pull' anything important.

Ah yes, delivery.....
I had a machine unloaded off a U-haul trailer in my driveway and moved 20 feet into the garage, $400.
I had a free double door bank vault deliverd 30 miles and placed in my garage, $500
Having both items here, Priceless.
Just think of all the fun you'll have once it's set up. [:D]

i'm sure they would be if you had to have it shipped, but this was local... it was probably $15 or so in gas to take my truck across town for it.
Vad- i know what you mean about machine tools... i was astonished to find out how a standing mill weighs! Been a real issue in my own search for one...

I'm not surprised at how freaking much a milling machine wieghs. I have to shore up a shed floor outside in the morning and drag one over from a friends. I'll have to dismantle it, fun fun fun. And I am just about finished reassembling my industrial sewing machine. It's sitting behind me in the room that is soon to be the formal leather shop. Motor is on, needs the bolts tightened.

Then I will flip the table over and screw that down, and drop in the head....then finish off the bobbin winder and the light. And put all of the drawers back in underneath, tons of storage. I'm, just glad the base is on casters, whole thing is about 400 pounds.

When I get done around the beginning of next month I should have the clicker press ready too. It needs an air over hydraulic jack, and heavy steel platens and a cutting mat. Already have the compressor.

Thinds are moving along, I'll begin to have items for sale.

I thought you were just into antique looking things.  I agree, but there are some pretty impressive new exam tables that can put you in your place.
