Never give up is my first thought, since you asked, although I may have a few ideas to share with of of what has worked for me. Surprise, surprise...
I look in a relaxed kind of way for play partners, and relationships of every kind.
I like to have a few eggs out there, and not in one little ol' basket.
I have bdsm friends, sometimes we play, sometimes we don't, but we always have fun being connected. I have been in love spiritually, mentally and physically, in lust or in full Domme kinky-land and I am happiest when all that happens with the same person.
However, I don't expect it to, and enjoy who and what is here and now. That has been the key to my happiness over the last several years.
We can have it all one day and not have it the very next.
I appreciate people for what they have to exchange in terms of energy, experience, knowledge, and I don't like to have my time wasted, so I do what I want. There is a lot of freedom in that, and growth.
Just get out there and have some fun, and I think I'll take my own damn advice...and go have some fun. Good luck and happy trails.
