ORIGINAL: Sanity That's ridiculous. The OP was bipolerber complaining that the White House sent press releases, memos, etc. out to Fox News - oh the horror. I'll bet you they sent them out to CNN and everyone else, too. How is that illegal. How is that different than what any other administration has done... They all do that. It's no news, it's nothing new. And of course most people who are extreme in their views don't realize it. We're all perfect moderates in our own minds... aren't we. Every one of us. quote:
ORIGINAL: DomKen That's funny. Did you ignore the original post in this thread? FNC staffers and administration flacks knowingly and repeatedly broke the law. The only time I'm ever called far left is by right wing extremists, the actual extreme left differs from my views on gun control, Israel, property rights and a whole host of other things, and I am outraged that those involved are going to get away with it. That you think it is ok for people you agree with to break the law is a telling example of what is wrong with the extreme right. The ends never justify the means. Actually you're trying to twist the plain facts, the federal government is legally prevented from co-ordinating news coverage with any single organization or paying in any way for news coverage. The book details quite clearly that this wasn't press releases that are freely available for all but private distribution of the administrations talking points. Which is and was then against the law. I don't deny I'm left of center but as any extreme leftist will be happy to tell you I'm far too moderate. You will of course continue the tired lie of trying to equate anyone left of Genghis Khan as a nut case far leftie but people have long ago seen through that bullshit.
