ORIGINAL: ResidentSadist I understand you may not be looking. However, it is like wearing a collar or wedding ring after the divorce. I am not chastising anyone... women have the innate right to be confusing and emotional but, I am pointing out that it makes a false impression on old goats like me. For example, I am confused that Sirspetadrina hooked up with Asher... I always thought she was owned and living with a Master. There was a thread where a bunch of CMers’ advised some poor single & seeking newcomer that wearing a collar a to a BDSM event was a good idea because it’s a fashion statement, they’re pretty and we shouldn’t be boxed in by definitions. That truly is like wearing a wedding ring to single’s event, not wear your wedding ring in singles bar or finding a wolf in sheep’s clothing. RS, I understand and I'm confused by the whole collar as "jewelry" or spoken-for nick, too. After a while, I just have to shrug it off because I can't keep up with who is with who and who isn't. Have whatever nick blows your dress or trousers up or down, just don't look at me crazy if I don't know what your current "disposition" is.
