Well I had to check off the chocohol, but the reality is that I am a serious water addict. I drink over a gallon a day easy.

My second actual beverage addicton would be my coffee/chickory cafe au lait. One a day is all it takes to make me happy.

not to hijack...a southerner told me there is a HUGE difference between Sweet Tea and Iced Tea. i looked Sweet Tea up on the net and it seems the same as Iced Tea.

Anyone know?

From what I could tell, it is syrupy sweet iced tea..........but I might be wrong.

Southern Sweet Tea has a high concentration of cane sugar in it that is boiled in and allowed to cool (Inverting) instead of added while the tea is cold.. here are a couple of sites that can get you started trying them..

i'm with those that are water drinkers...over a gallon a day for me.  i'm trying to cut out coffee but it's really hard.  i gave up soda years ago, i have maybe 2 a year.

Real brewed southern sweet tea also has a whole lotta love in it. 

As for my beverage choice... water, followed by Southern style sweet tea.

do you go pee 24-7 too???

i drink 2-3 500 ml a day...i wake up many times a night to go pee...cause of the water.  when i dont drink water..it doesnt happen.   water is like beer it makes you urinate.

it's easy suga... take 8 of the luzianne reg. sized tea bags, 1 1/4 cups of sugar.. and a gallon of water.

put the sugar in your container, and 2-3 cups of Hot water. Stir like mad. Once dissolved hang the tea bags inside the container, close lid except for the top where you put in the watter. Fill it up with water, and let it brew in the fridge. When it is nice and dark take the tea bags out. Drink and enjoy.

For my Green/Jasmine tea I do the same thing. only 4 of the green, and 4 of the jasmine. ~ and I cut back to 1 cup of sugar.

I just do not like soda all that much. Had enough when I was a kid.. my mom was very addicted to Pepsi.

Though if forced to I will drink a Dr. Pepper.

Ok, *putting on southern drawl* darlin' let me explain what you damn yankees do not get about our tea.

*chuckles*

There are 2 kinds of tea served in resturants in the south.. Sweet tea, and non sweet tea. A good southern belle always drinks sweet tea. we were raised on it. It runs in our veins.

Now you also have "Texas Tea" Strong, dark, sweet as hell tea. This is uauly boiled with the tea bags in it to a concentrated form with the sugar, then water added to it in the jug. ( I skip the boiling process in mine and do a Sun tea version of it. )

Then you have "Church Tea" it is the weaker version of Texas Tea. Not as dark, and not as sweet.. but still sweet, iced tea.

Us Wimmens down here take our tea seriously. You can *lure* a southern gent with a good glass of tea.

I always have a gallon of the stuff in my fridge. I drink it.. and you never know when guests will drop in.

i am completely addicted to coffee...it has to be very strong very dark coffee with NO additives...i love it when i order 3-4 shots of espresso & they ask me what size...or what i want in it...i always opt for espresso & air, whatever size cup you want to put it into....

Iced Tea with just a splash of Ocean Spray light cranberry juice and two packets of Splenda in the morning.  In the evening, switch off to water.  I used to be addicted to Bacardi Limon and Diet Coke but I am trying to lose weight!

LOL!  I used to stop sometimes and get coffee for my boss, and this is how the convo ALWAYS went:

Me:  Triple shot of espresso please.
Them:  What do you want that in?
Me:  A cup will do just nicely, thanks.
