I looked at some of the comments about BBW Dommes and I have to laugh! My in-box is full (here and elsewhere) of people writing to say they thought BBWs were hot hot HAWT!

OK.

I have to sya that the ratio of positive to negative comments is about 20 to 1! Maybe even wider!

I'm wondering if other BBW Dommes get the same thing. I'm certain that while there are those who desire thin Women, there are also many slaves and subs out there who find larger Dommes beautiful! A toast to you all! LOL If I ever find a really good photographer, I'll do a whole set of glamour poses!

Personally, when I'm really attracted to someone (on a dating basis, not a hot girl walking down the street basis), I go case by case. Some people look really awesome as plus sized people (myself included tyvm), and other people look really great as thin sized people, and then there's the people who look nice with small breasts and others who look nice with large breasts, and some with long hair and others with short hair.

If I see a pretty woman (I don't usually check out a lot of men, see), there's no telling whether they're thin or fat or big or small boobied or blue hair or black eyes or what.

I'd like to think that people who look at me are interested in ME and what I have to say, regardless of my plus-sizedness.

I,m a BBW myself and i have to say i find that both men and women are attracted to me. As a domme men seem to like a woman that towers over them, it seems to add to the whole thing .So be proud of your curves if people dont like them ignore them . they are the ones missing out

Yes, there are plenty of men who approach preferring a babe of substantial curves, and I'll join you in that toast to them. I've gotten very few unkind comments, but usually it's from someone I've rejected, or someone I've pissed off on the message boards, so they make up a new nic and send an insult.

I wish everyone was more open and flexible in their attractions, myself included, especially since looks are not what keeps most relationships positive/lasting... But if I can't figure out why I'm attracted to some and not others, I can hardly preach to those who prefer what I may not be. M

Everyone seems to have their preferences, I suppose. I prefer soft and sensual, however it is sculpted. I'd had thin and curvaceous girlfriends in the past. Their shape didn't matter, as it was their personalities that attracted me. I'd like to think people love others just because of who they are and how they feel together when they share time, talk, laughter, touches, joys and sorrows. I love all bodies. I think they are all beautiful. But if a woman's personality sucks, they are not attractive at all to me.
One day at work, a long time ago, my boss leaned over my shoulder to peer at what I was doing at my desk... and I mean leaned over. Her bosom she rested on my shoulder, and she reached down to point something out to me on an intake sheet. I took note, of everything she said, and everything I was feeling, and then looked up at her. She smiled so beautifully at me, and with her softness all about me, I melted. Since I'd already fallen in love with her personality, I thought this closeness a most delightful sign... perhaps she wanted to supervise me after work, as well.
She started having me go on business trips with her, run errands for her, and soon she controlled my entire schedule, much to my delight. We worked so well together... and she liked having a little butch 'slave' around, to take care of her work-related needs, and soon, to please, satisfy and worship her. It didn't take long before she was having me over, to discuss work, of course, but we would end up doing much more. I loved every inch of her. But she was forever fretting about her size and shape, and didn't seem to trust, or acted incredulous, I guess, about my loving her. It didn't take away from my feelings, because I loved being with her. But it did seem to put a damper on things nevertheless, as she couldn't simply enjoy my love.
She finally ended what I had thought was such a beautiful love, to move away to be with someone who was cold, unaffectionate and distant. I couldn't understand that part, but I was able to understand simply that she didn't want to be with me any longer, of course.
I used to wonder if a part of someone choices in partners/relationships reflects how they feel about themselves in more ways than they even know. I found much out about myself, through much introspection and growth over the years. Years I chose to not have anyone, so I could learn to know and love myself. With her, I'd always wondered how a confident, capable woman could allow her negative body image to affect something so necessary as love. How it probably still does. If I could not accept love, because of something I didn't like about myself, I would have never been able to 'capture' the one I am now married to for almost two years, and shacked up with a couple years before that ;). My hope is for everyone to love her or himself, just as they are.... and allow others to love them too.
As for asses that try to make someone feel bad... hell, they don't think very highly of themselves, so they try to bring others down too... and they are easy to ignore, and not waste your energy on. Lots of love to all of you ladies, whether big and beautiful, or small and beautiful... or in between, and also just as lovely.

I think most of the people who aren't attracted to me because I'm fat are simply polite enough to move on and find someone that works for them. It really is wasted energy to tell someone how wrong you are for them.

I've never had a problem attracting men vanilla or otherwise, I think it has more to do with the vibe you put out there and how you take care of your appearance. If you adore you it's contagious.

Everyone is "More Popular Than You Might Think!" It takes all kinds to make a world...

Personally, I think bigger women often have prettier faces than more slender ladies. I can't quite decide if it's to do with classical notions of beauty, a rounder face, or what. More slender faces often seem "man-like" to me. One thing I personally dislike is seeing lots of bones on any woman. If I can count her ribs, she's too thin. If her head looks like a skull, she's too thin. Actually, I am not that fond of toothy smiles either - esp if the smile shows too much upper gum tissue. And I like curves on women. While I don't have size requirements as such, I do like a woman to look womanly. Anyway, I can forgive a lot in exchange for a pretty face. A cute face trumps almost anything. Why? Because when you wake up in bed its better not to be frightened first thing by the person laying next to you.

Well, we all have our preferences don't we?

I think everyone just needs to concentrate on those that will like them and forget about those that will not - why torture yourself? Too thin for one person? Too heavy? Find someone else. Don't waste one minute of your precious time worrying about it. Not one minute!

Beauty fades. Some of us are going to get caught solo when the music dies out if we worry too much about something as silly as beauty. Sure, it's not nothing - but it's not everything either.

Hi LadyS,

I personally like women who are WOMEN. Thin or thick, tall or short, white, black, or green doesn't really matter. What matters is their ability to turn me on. I know some women who are 'plain Janes' to put it nicely but they are a real turn-on to be with. I also know several who are 'drop-dead' georgous and I don't like to be around them. As I've said many time before; it takes three things to make a really good sex partner. They are: attitude, Attitude and ATTITUDE! The rest is frosting on the cake.

BTW I'm a pretty good photograher and have a digital camera if you want to do that photo shoot just give me a call. We can download the pics to your computer and erase the camera before I leave.

Well, there are a few things here.

1. How many men in general can find BBW's attractive? That's probably hard to tell. There is a lot of social pressure on men to only like the Hollywood hottie type, so if I guy did have a thing for larger women, he's probably likely to keep it to himself unless very secure in who he is.

2. How many men are specifically attracted to BBW's? I think this is a different question from the above. For example, I can and do find many larger women attractive, but that does not mean that I'm only attracted to BBW's. I think many slim women are very attractive as well. Nor does it mean I find all larger women attractive. I think there are good looking BBW's and very unattractive BBW's. It's probably a combination of body shape - I'll admit I tend to prefer an hourglass figure in all sizes - grooming, clothing, personality, etc. I think there are guys out there though who almost have a "fat fetish", at least you'd think so from reading what they post. I'm not sure how common this is or how anyone would feel about it. I'm personally not a big fan of being attracted to someone just for a fetish reason.

So if my taste is any judge, I'd suspect that a lot of men are attracted to at least some larger women, even if they won't admit it to their buddies. People in the BDSM world may be more open about this because if you are open about your preference for that lifestyle, you probably have the same capability to be open about a desire for a larger woman.

3. What does this have to do with BDSM? I'm not sure here. I could certainly be attracted to a BBW Domme. But for me the attraction of a Domme has very little to do with simply raw physical attraction.

BBW stands for Big Beautiful Woman - but let's face it, some are just a Big Women, and the beauty got left out. I try to find beauty in all people, but some I just think are "fugly." And that's probably the worst case scenario.
