late Saturday afternoon I got a call from GT who was tooling around with Tulip, and Cali (I think), and someone else I talked on the phone with but I was almost still asleep and thus not my wittiest, or even half-wittiest. Bet it was a fun evening. I hear Cjan was there, too. Cool. So, anyway, Groovy Thing asked me if I was doing OK vis-a-vis Elizabeth. I didn't want to get into it, so I said yes, but the answer is really no. In fact I'm so pissed I can hardly see straight, and there will be some repercussions. I felt bad telling GT that. I didn't want to lose face, I reckon. So who else has made up an answer to an uncomfortable question?

At least you fib.....my family won't tell me anything going on back home just so I won't worry...then when the whole situation blows, they decide to tell me what's going on.....SURPRISE!!!!! I wish they'd let me worry! They've done that to me since I left to join the Army.....in 1981! But yeah, I'm just as guilty of the little white lie as the next person.....because I don't want my friends to worry! (Hey, I come by it honestly, K?) I have this whole independent streak going on, and don't bother my friends with any of my issues or problems going on in my life. I'll listen to them, but just haven't ever opened up to anyone else. (Thank god my cats can't talk......I'd be in so much trooooooouble!)

Everyone tells fibs so that others don't worry but then again that fib will get found out sooner or later and hurt the person who you told the fib to. I've told a few fibs to said friends but most unfortunatly i can't do that to Lee, he knows me way to well to say we've only known each other for almost three weeks! but yea i am quite good at hiding my emotions :P luckily, had ALOT of practise. But yea if theres ever something really wrong i tell one of three people: Lee(Master), Micky(best friend) Dom(other best friend(Dom is short for Dominic))

i don't hide things from my friends. they know all to well that what ever is happening in my life that i will see my way through it. however, there is also good timing and in the circumstance that you described HippieKinster, i too would have said i am OK and waited until said friend was back home. i would not have wanted to ruin or even put a damper my friends good time. may we all find our bliss one grain of sand at a time.

It's like duja ve. When it comes to fibbing I try to stand by one rule. And that's if I'm gunna fib, make it a good one. And make sure nobody finds out!! [:'(]

Yesh! This is also great advice. But if you must be on a big popular reality show, and you must fib, then go big! Truth is stranger than fiction, but if your fiction is odd enough maybe you'll get away with it! [:-]

That is true. If you remember survivor, or ever seen any of the best of shows on vh1 the one guy called in his best friend to tell him his grandma is dead hoping to get sympathy an not be illiminated, but then later on ON CAMERA, he and his buddy weret alking about how cool it was the lie was belived and how stupid they wbere for falling for it, an they got busted. Or on I love money toaste decided to fake hurting her ankle to win sympathy and apear to be a weaker player, an then was bragging about it on the video diaries bout her lie an how clever it was an how she's gonna make sure no one guessed she lied. I am a very straight and to the point person. I have never held my tongue very well and usually say what is on my mind. Most of my friends know that about me and don't much care. I don't usually sugar coat things... So I try not to tell fibs, but I have to spare a select fews feelings.... Peace Angelic
