I have a scene coming up this Friday. It's a public scene that will involve anal sex. I'm afraid of having gas, so I'm wondering if other submissives can help me with suggestions about what to eat, not to eat. I have been instructed eat something for energy. Also, when would be the best time to have a cleansing enema given that the scene begins at 10:00 pm?

I'd say just avoid the foods that normally give you gas. As far as an enema, I'd say do it around 6. Gives yourself plenty of time to expunge, recover and get ready for the event.

I want to know where you are playing that you can do scenes and anal sex? Is it a swingers thing?

Eggs give Doug gas where they do nothing to me. So, each person is different. Don't eat what gives you gas. I'd suggest not eating 3-4 hours prior just in case you do happen to have gas it has passed.
No idea on the enema thing...a few hour's prior?

As to Emeralds question..perhap's it is a private party?

Thanks Emerald and sub4hire. It's odd how different things give us gas. I'm afraid to eat anything! I'll figure out something, though.

It's a women only play-party in San Francisco. I'll let you know afterward if no anal sex is a house rule. Somehow, I doubt it since gay boys party there regularly. I can't imagine them not having anal.

He he, prior to my first dungeon play party I had only been to "swingers" play parties. The dungeon play party was even at the same location as my regular swing party where people routinely engaged in sex play, bdsm and otherwise, both at the party and the afterparty. Imagine my mystified look when I got the rules at the door and saw no sex, no penetration (even with toys), no masturbation.

What? Aww, shucks.

since it's a dungeon, I suppose s&m is really the point of going whether gay or straight. My experience is limited to this particlar dungeon where I've seen all kinds of sex in addition to bdsm play. I am sure they don't allow fireplay, scat, or blood play. please excuse my ignorance, but I am now wondering what the limitations generally are. why no anal sex at some?

Usually for legal reasons. The only public dungeon i came even close to visiting had a long list of rules. i emailed them and they sent me a copy.

you might try something like that so you know before hand. If they have a site, the rules might be posted there.

I am no expert but typical rules I've seen/heard are no penetration, scat, urine, blood. If a scene is going to be intense or appear nonconsensual, notify the DM in advance. No cameras and no soliciting.

Fireplay is often allowed though.

Of course, I am in the midwest.

Most public play spaces do not allow any sort of penetration. This is partly due to sex law issues and partly because the bdsm scene tends to be someone public-sex-phobic in general.

Private parties hwoever tend to have far fewer rules, especially when it comes to sex.
