I agree! I finally rewrote my profile to reflect exactly what I was looking for. Now I get almost no email. Is my profile intimidating? Maybe to some. Is it un-sexy because I don't talk about my sex life or fetishes or include hot pics? Probably. So be it. I personally believe that no email is better that the garbage I was getting, as faerytattoodgirl points out. i thought i read several years ago a website you designed where you were very clear about who you were and what you were looking for, and i remember being impressed with the graphics and your clarity, so i am surprised to hear you say this today. but i can sympathise, i hate being made to feel like a "fetish delivery device", but i think it may just be par for the course because you are so physically attrative and so clearly dominant i could see how many a boy would fetishise you....and part of them doing that would be to ask as many questions as you would allow them audience for....all attention is good attention to their minds. a good approach is to ask questions back like "why do you wish to know this?" sometimes folks need a little light shined on their atrocious table manners. its not that they don't know better, its just that the food they are eating is so delicious, and they have been starving for some time, so accidentally make a pig of themselves...

MstrTiger think what you are getting at is they are not listening too you? Most importantly of what you want. People even chatting lose sight of the other person involved and will ignore their feelings some by accident and some due to their egos. Like I told students for years the only Dumb questions are those not asked! But on the other hand we can say Bye and see you if we dont like their questions, all our own choice of course. Your time is yours and very important to you. Please dont feel that you must answer them all either.

Personally, a lot depends on the questions asked. I'll answer that eleventy bajillion questions, if they're about me, my predilections, the way I am dominant, my preferences, and my life. I won't answer even eleven questions if you're going to ask me to write out the exact order of a specific scene. I don't mind letting a ptotential sub get to know me, but I do mind feeling like they're trying to get me to agree to some specific fantasy that they want to experience. I'm not a pro Domme, so while I do take some care to make sure that people I'm playing with are also enjoying the scenes, I'm not going to run a scene straight from an unknown sub/slave's mind that doesn't take my preferences into consideration. I understand where you're coming from, but when I start to feel like this, I generally consider it natural selection - they've deselected themselves from my consideration.

Tiger Dom; Interesting post. Even far more interesting web site. I must admit that your web site seem to be an exercise in ego as oppose to an exercise in education. But then that is my perception. Also, I'm curious...the advice you give...is it meant to cater to the gay leather scene? or a pansexual scene? The tone you take...this mantra of indifference you speak of may work with the boys...but definately does not work with women. I think the OP's sexuality is relevant as there are wayyyy more "do me" boys than there are girls it seems! Fem Dommes cop them all the time too and it can get frustrating. There is a bit more distance maintained between D and s, yet no less actual caring. It's really a matter of what the couple works out that works for them. I really appreciated getting to know the guys in Perth (and who better to learn CBT from [:D]) and to observe their dynamic, especially as they were the only others locally to be working with poly.
