I'm in the market for a bondage bed that will also work as a comfortable sleeping bed. Something that looks good and sturdy enough to do the job. I've found a few on google, but really would like to hear from somebody who has used/slept in one as to how well their model works and if it's comfortable.

I have a bed from IKEA.. once we put it together, my boi at the time put really large eye bolts at 8 inch intervals on the inside AND the outside of the frame, all the way around.. it was one of the many wonderful things she did in my house..the frame has a lip on the outside so you can't see them unless you're sitting on the floor.

I think its the malm bed, in king size...

If you dont want to spend alot, you can just get one of the extra heavy duty steel bed frames from a matress store, and drill holes wherever you want attachment points, then put in some quick links to attach rope or whatever else you were planning on using.

Inexpensive platform bed + cleats from the local hardware store = instant bondage bed.

We love IKEA, so much in the way of pervertable stuff!  Our bed is the king-sized Noresund bed; I wanted something that could be great for tying down but was still pretty and it really has a lot of options without having to add anything to the frame.

I'll have to check out IKEA,.

Thanks to all the other suggestions, but I am not looking for the least expensive option, really price is not an object for me, but function and looks are.

Well if price isn't an issue I'd go with a Dungeon Bed. They're available from Mr. S along with other sites. They are exquisitely amazing.

Other than that I used my standard bed and just rigged a rope web between the mattress and boxspring. It's super easy and super cheap.

Chico is home to some of the finest Claro walnut in California and would make a rather stunning bed.  Do you know what style you want?  Mission and Arts & Crafts are all perfect for bondage, colonial four posters tend to be a bit delicate, sleigh beds work well, I have always wanted to make one where the panels on the headboard and footboard come off and reveal the toys hidden inside the bed.

If you really want something custom, check out the toys on my profile and drop me a line.  I am down in Sacramento but get up to chico to buy gunstock blanks from some sources up there.

A unistrut bed works well for complete versatility and function, ask( bullysbluerose ) here on collar me about the bed they just got in April, from a guy in central California. I have a few photos of this style in use, full body suspension, fuck sling and lots of attachment points, no drilling required.

The proper kind of paint job, not always black,LOL can easily hide the true function from less kinky relatives or friends!

I like the idea of a home built one with a cage and storage drawers underneath.

Aanakaris -> RE: Bondage Bed (7/31/2008 7:15:26 PM)

I checked out the IKEA beds, they look great, but not exactly what I am looking for, since there's no means to do suspensions, slings, or standing bondage. The Unistrut beds looks good from a bondage perspective, but not at all from a sleeping perspective. This bed must double as my regular sleeping bed as well. Limited space in the apartment.

I suppose I should really just buy a house and set up a bondage room...

Hi there;
We also wanted a bondage bed that could stand up to our rough play times and still look like a regular bed and be within our budget. So with the help of a vanilla brother we cobbled a bed from readily available pine from the hardware store.
I suppose I should post a pic someday. But it is just a queen size bed from pine 2x8 and some newel posts(for stairs). The head and foot have 1 1/4 inch dowels six inches apart. The bed looks awsome and is very strong. I am six foot and two twenty in good shape and i have been tied and there is no movement from the bed and no squeeks. All in all i spent only three hundred dollars, not including the mattress. If you have a few woodworking skills this is an easy build. Just look around your local bondage store, opps, i mean hardware store for ideas and materials.

Every one's given him great advice, but so far I haven't seen any one answer the question, are they comfortable.

I'm interested in knowing that too. Are sex store bought dungeon beds, comfortable?

BootBlackBlast -> RE: Bondage Bed (8/3/2008 7:24:31 PM)

The ones from Mr. S are most definitely comfortable. You can put any boxspring and mattress on them you like.

Hmm, I wonder how fast I could turn out nice shippable hardwood bondage beds with a cnc router. I'll have to look into it.
