Status: offline 		Can someone please tell me why certain females talk to you for a long period of time agree to meet, then never heard from even though you see them online. Why can't you just come out and say I am not interested or what ever the reason is. Is there some thrill in lying or leading others on that I am missing? I know that this has probably been talked about before but the females are screaming be honest be truthful. Is this a one way thing? Thank you for letting me rant.

Status: offline 		Sometimes people do show up, see the other person walk in, and decide for whatever reason that they don't want to identify themselves.

But mostly I think people just get scared. They're too embarrassed to apologize and admit they haven't got the courage to meet so they don't contact you again.

Status: offline 		i actually met someone last week. i've met guys before... not a big deal in my book. He called me during the day and left me a vm (i was working) to double check that we were still on. At dinner, we talked about it and i was aghast that he had been stood up on more than one occasion. i didn't realize people did that to each other to be honest. i guess i like to believe that we're all adult enough to be honest if we don't want to see the other person again for whatever reason.

Status: offline 		I think DesFIP has it right. I look at it this way…I have no expectations and am pleasantly surprised when things work out. But if I am stood up or someone disappears or stops talking to me I don’t let it get to me personally I just move on.

I’m not even particularly mad at them either. People are often sincere at that moment of passion…but when that passes they think differently.

I have never stood someone up but I have had a change of mind. Embarrassed I was but I always contacted them with an apology.

I am often two different people as I have stated before… I get wild with erotic passion and at that time would do most anything… later after that passion has ebbed I can’t believe I did or said what I did. I have learned never to make serious decisions when crazy.
