I'd be very careful in stretching yourself out too much.  Yes, a vagina is made for a baby's head to fit through, however that doesn't always come at no cost to the mom's body. 

As for the sling, kiwi ... it's something i've considered, but am not quite at that stage yet, though it is good advice!
