If you are a good enough cook, then Salt and Pepper are the only spices you will ever need.

Kosher Salt. Only Savages use the Table Stuff.

And Pepper somes in CORNS not in Flakes.

Other than the thyme which was for a specific recipe, she did send me just salt & pepper.  She sent those McCorrmick's brand with the awesome grinders built right into the top... even the salt is in a grinder.  She sent:

Garlic Sea Salt
Black & Red Pepper Blend
Garlic Pepper
Black, Pink, Green Peppercorns with Garlic & Sea Salt
Thyme

Steel darlin'?  You remember how I was going to cook for your birthday?  Umm, never mind, you would just be disappointed.

…the package was a collection of stuff gleaned from 57 days of daily conversations……..our friendship has grown and flourished like a well tended plant. i  think highly of you, Sir....thank you for you.

I enjoy every minute we share sweetheart.  Your sincerity and good heart radiates from you just like the prune juice story shows.  Real people with really good intentions are a rare treasure.  People who say what they mean and mean what they say will always hold my respect and earn my attention as you have.  I am so glad we stumbled over each other here in these forums.  xoxo

looks up at Sir, i am just glad for that "pause" you had and my "fluttering heart" which has evolved into such an awesome friendship.

 weirdiest shit...for two months, i would see your name up in the rafters on various threads and my heart would... i kid you not,  physically flutter and jump all around in my chest. the day you sent me that first email happened to be the day that Simply Michael wrote a thread about taking intiative in writing an e-mail to someone who caught your eye here on the forums. for two months ...i had wanted to write you and just could not bring myself to do it. i had lots of reasons...you were a fucking sadist to the ninth degree, you seemed to like young girls, (ummm, well,smiles), you made me nervous in an edgy sorta way,  you were so articulate and i felt lacking in my writing skills. after reading Michael's thread, i had decided that night,  i was going to walk through my fears and write to you....splay myself wide open before you. i left the forums to the other side and there was your first cmail.
it took me at least a whole five heart thumping  minutes to open that cmail, until i finally laughed at myself and said "fucking open it, brenda what the fuck can the man do you in an email". apparently a lot as it has turned out.
thank you for you, Sir.

Cali I was being silly, What I said was paraphrased from an episode of Good Eats with Alton Brown talking about the seasoning of a Steak. He made a comment that Table Salt was for Savages and Pepper in order for the flavor to really take needs to be from Corns not flakes.

I love the show Good Eats.

Cali you and I and a few others in the guest list will be cooking in the bedroom the only food we will be needing is Beef Jerky and Vitamins all washed down with Gatorade.

lol....if i didn't the know the secret world of herbs and spices, i probably would convince myself that all i needed was salt and pepper too. my grandmother didn't use much flair in her cooking, but everyone's stomachs were always full. i get what Steel is saying, but ummmm hushing up now.

SteelofUtah -> RE: -=LQQK what everhope did=- (8/1/2008 1:48:26 PM)

everhope,

Grandma cooked the same way only she liked using REALL exotic herbs and spices.

In Second Grade I was the only kid who knew what Saffaron was.

You know... I am going to the grocery store right now and buy a steak so I can cook it with this garlic salt and peppercorn medley… with a baked potato and corn.

Man that sounds good… I am fucking starved.  I hate being fresh out of slaves!  I am glad Aug 1st is finally here.  I scored 2 phone numbers already today so far… LOL

You were on sabbatical?

Jeeze.  And here I am, thinking the Peace Corps would be a great way to spend mine.

(Is that the Piece Corps or the Peace Corps?)

Yes I was on sabbatical.  Keep this in your pervy little heart baby.  At this very moment, you are the last woman I have slept with!  Since our weekend of the May 3rd when you and I stopped dating, I took a sabbatical, a restful period of leave from my customary mischief, a break from the pursuit in pleasure of the flesh.  That is why our dear frightened puppen wanted to come last night on the night of the 31st.  She wanted to be the first one here when I “opened shop” .

Sweetheart... you were so special, you were an exception to the rule!  When I first came here to Daytona to focus on business, meeting you was an exception to my plans.  However, from the first moment we met and set a passionate fire burning in the coffee shop to the last time we were drenched in each others cum on May 3rd & 4th… you were a whirlwind.  Some of which is chronicled in this thread -=CollarMe.com Story: “Trust me. I’m a doctor”=- .

Love you honey... a candle will always burn for you in the cathedral of my crowded little poly heart.

Off topic- check your mail, RS, lol.

WyldHrt -> RE: -=LQQK what everhope did=- (8/2/2008 12:48:28 AM)

On topic, some friends and I sent a "happy" package to an online Irish friend who was coping with his girlfriend having been hit by a car in the line of duty and badly hurt. As he didn't know it was coming, the reaction to our "box of shit" (T-shirts, swear bear, nasty bumper stickers, silly kiddy toys, selected Cali tourist crap, and lots of candy) was fairly priceless.
Warm fuzzies for sure [:)]

Her loss = my gain!  ( Notice I was waiting on the doorstep when the opening bell rang).[:)]

Sorry about the blood on the floor ... (Not really.  Just trying to be polite.  YOU made me bleed ... ergo ... the blood is YOUR problem.)

The red cage is awesome, by the way!  Totally lives up to its reputation.
