offical diagnosis is in:
Serosis of the liver and portal hypertension. I just callled her and read the thread to her. She said this has made her day, and thank you everyone.

I wanted to thank all of you for sending prayers and good thoughts. I appreciated them so much and each one made me smile, as Geoff read them to me over the phone. I also wanted to make one thing clear, I do not, nor have I ever drank. How strange that I would have a diagnosis of cirrhosis of the liver. However, years ago I used to take tylnol PM to sleep, and I hear now, that it effects the liver..So who knew? In any case, thank y'all so much for your well wishes! They mean a lot. I am at home now, probably going to be moving back in with my sister. *sigh*

I'm glad to hear you're home, MoGa. Cirrhosis can be caused by a number of different things, not just drinking. A good lesson for all of us to keep in mind.
