The first year I attended Burning Flipside, the Austin version of Burning Man, I did so upon hearing an announcement of one of the members of our local BDSM group. He had a theme camp there called Temple De Sade. This camp hosted sex-positive events. Each of the six years I have attended, there has been at least one theme camp with a BDSM theme. These camps have various types of BDSM furniture and give people the opportunity to watch or participate. So while for me it was BDSM that took me to Burning Man, for some people it is Burning Man that brings them to BDSM. It is a gathering that allows individual expression, which is what allows BDSM expression. While expression of sexuality is part of my individual expression, I have felt better about years when I had a more balanced, broader expression. Cheers, Sea

Yeah, use the RV and/or scaffolding as a base and plywood for the facade. I don't think it would need to be large, maybe 8foot high or so and maybe 20 or so feet long including a archway. A couple pillories and or stocks outside as well as wall manacles. Decorate the inside medievalish style along with plenty of rugs and pillows. And have the dungeon inside along with outdoor patio heaters spaced throughout as well as some flaming ironwork. (I think a BDSM trieskile would look awesome in fire!) If we had say a dozen people, we would have enough folks to set up, tear down, have a couple DM's and have enough time off to lounge around, have fun, or play. We would all meet there, and each would bring X amount of stuff like plywood, 2x4's nails, tools, paint, stone wall facades. If we had enough folks commit, I think we could make it work. Only question is, could I find a sub willing to go walking around with me as my prisoner in various states of undress in handcuffs/waistchain and legirons, and indeed, avoid trouble with the local Stasi (or Gestapo)... And 2010 would gimme some time to lose some weight.

I think a pair of PAR 56 shorts and 2 or 3 PAR 38's would work quite nicely. use the 56's for backlight and the 38's for forelighting that would undulate to simulate the flickering flames.
