"New topic to fix spelling" Thank you all for your advice and comments. I have practiced and have found a somewhat comfortable way of kneeling. After many conversations about the topic with Sir I have relaxed more about kneeling. I have been able to identify my true hesitation at first. I have been a very independent person my entire life. I have always been afraid to let one make any type of decisions about my life. I was talking to an old friend and she reminded me of when I used to be the "I bow to noone" type of person. After some reminiceing it was always what everyone expected. My parents were always expecting me to go to college make my own living take care of myself ect ect. I see now that they're is an inner battle of my independent side that says trust noone only you can take care of you, and the other side that says I trust that they can take care of me the way I should be taken care of. I have kneeled for him when he has told me to, but still have not kneeled for him in any other way. Munkee

Because they're are certain things that I feel I cannot give up. I still have more discussion to have with Sir.

shrugs Good for you for going as far as you have. Just don't rush. Remember, this is not a race. There is no award given for "kneeling first or best". You might as well take things easy and build up good associations with things such as this rather than going too fast and ending up hating the idea of kneeling to another. Communicate then communicate more with your dom.

.....smiles "wow malloves69 alot of tmi....."[:)] i used to have problems on the kneeling thing. bc of my back ground of kneeling at church. as i took deep thought and alot of crying in church. thinking i was bad for wanting to do it for man. but after the disscussions with many ppl who live the lifestyle. i have the two in a differ light, and seperate the two.

Good evening!! I have a problem with knealing as well, I can bow..in fact I often do. I wait with my kids at the bus stop and when older people drive by and nod?? I often bow my head. Respect I guess. But unless some God or Goddess shows up in front of me..to where I throw myself down face first! lol I bow to no one. But I sit between Daddy's legs and that means that I can tuck my legs under me or have one out to the side. See...often times my foot or leg falls asleep so Daddy always points down and then says, "Make sure you do not fall asleep." Which means..sit on the floor but make sure your legs do not fall asleep. Daddy knows that I serve Him better if I am comfortable rather in pain or crampy. And it makes me more grateful to Him and love Him more if I allowed those small "treats".
