Status: offline 		Today i was minding my own business studing at the library, across from me this two young ladies (acquaints) were siting on a table, (they are always at the library too) i pack up my books put my coat on and I took my keys out... well on my key i have several lil handcuff keychains.. and i happen to be wearing my collar (leather with a O -ring in front)... This chick, Andy, looks at me, calls my name, I go up to her and she asked me:
"I dont know if you mind me asking this, but i happen to have heard one of your conversations in the past about B...BDSM... humm what does it really stand for, ..i know has to do with Bondage and masochism"
Oh btw this chick happens to be very ghotic, short black hair spiked, wearing platform boots, and baggy zipped up pants, with collar, Marilyn Manson shirt, alot of piercing and the whole full deal.....
Anyways i laughed, smiled at her and told her the basics about it... I saw her face light up , and her friends was kinda freaked out about it...
I told her that i had to go and left....
Andy and her friends started whispering behind my back.....

Have any of you guys ever had anyone come up to you with a question as such????

Many times over. You do your best to be as generic as possible. When they want to learn more they come back and ask further questions.

Status: offline 		Yup. I wore a large leather collar with an Oring 24/7 when I was in college. I didn't wear goth or punk stuff so it tended to be an interesting contrast to my sweatshirt and jeans. Got a lot of curious questions.

Status: offline 		Ont exactly the same question but when my exslave was staying with us she was leashed and being led through the mocal markets and one guy (Vietnam Vet) asked if what I was doing was legal. On another occasion we have taken the same trik into brisbane by train, walked around, shopped, coffed (many times) and lunched before returning to Beenleigh again by train. On the return trip one lovely lady cam over as commented to me that she presumed the trik was my slave and that the collar was beautifull. Not one adverse comment but lotsa people stopping in their tracks and staring though.

Status: offline 		Yup. Often, actually, partially because I'm lucky enough to be able to be "out" in the sense that I don't self-censor when talking about my relationship. (heh, not that it matters right now but y'all know what I mean)

I find I answer the same way I do about my religion--generically, with more detail if they ask.

Yep. I had to explain it to my Mom once. She still doesn't know I'm into it. So far I've told her I'm a Witch and I've had a lot of sex before marriage. I think that's about all she can handle for a while. I'll work my way up to, "Hey Mom, I like being flogged... oh, and I like women, too!" (Actually, I'll probably never tell her I'm bi.) I keep dropping her hints about my masochism, and she's a very smart cookie, so she probably knows. I'm going to keep deluding myself, though.

Status: offline 		Last summer i had a slave leashed and we were walking through a carnival.. by 4th of July....
and we got alot of people looking, and talking about us...
but no one actually had the guts to come ask anythng about it
my slave at the time loved atention like that
