Us old farts have just stopped CARING what other people think about what we do in the bedroom. As long as we don't disturb the rest of our families... we have a great deal more fun because we know what we want and go for it. Damn the Torpedoes!

I understand everyone will not be the same as some feel age is important and some feel it isnt, and these answers have been helpful and interesting to read in figuring it out incase I do meet an older domme or someone near my age, and hopefully has helped the younger slaves and dommes out their reading it as well. I mean thats what makes humans humans right? The choices we make.

The basic rundown I've gotten was
1. It's too damn expensive. Its not cheap to equip a dungeon thats why alot of pro dommes charge just to try and make up some of that cost. And with this said it just makes affording it for the younger crowd just difficult, and while there is cheaper toys if you really look, its not by much and can still eat your pocketbook.
2. Social Status. Let's face it, it might be alittle weird if your 40 and bring over a 20 year old slave to roleplay with, this is of course regarding to first impressions as you may think of your own children which would creep you out (Or in some cases excite you?

) and sure something could blossom over time because you would be used to each other, but as they say first impressions last a lifetime.
3. Bloosoming into age. I knew I enjoyed BDSM since I was a young teen, and while I can be a switch at times I tend to stay subby more. So if I can realize my fetishes why cant other 20 some year olds? Well sometimes it takes trying out new things, experimenting with others and realizing if you actually enjoy that lifestyle at all. Maybe its the fact that sex is good enough for our generation now or its 'taboo' to mention BDSM to your lover without them thinking your nuts. For some of us were starting to date more and broaden our horizions while some of us stay vanilla.
4. And lastly safety: I may not be a pro subby or anything, but I know safety is a big reason, lets face it, it takes alot of trust with someone before you can give them the okay to tie you up and roleplay, because the next thing you know you could hear the door slam behind you with all your valuables gone or worse. People find being tied up by a complete stranger and roleplayed with terrifying as it could involve rape, kidnap or death. And lets not forget all the television and news that gives BDSM a bad reputation. (but thats for another time)

I had some time to kill before class so I wanted to make this recap for fun mostly and I wanted to respond to everyones posting. =D
