How do you feel about owning an older man...say over 50?  Is age an issue?  Or do you look more at the person...

I have always dated older men.  My former slave and a former companion both turned sixty this year.  One of the most remarkable submissive men I have ever met is still a hard player at age 75.

I do have an upper limit of age, but I consider the person first. 

At the same time, I would never consider a person under the age of 35, except as the most casual of playmates.  Young men just don't have the qualities that I seek, and never have.  This is my PREFERENCE, and it does not mean that young men are not wonderful submissives, that they need more practice, or anything else pejorative.  I just don't have any interest in the youngsters.

All of the potential servants we're looking at at the moment are over 50, and at least one is over 60. I've developed a preference for older men. I love the attitudes of the ones we've been talking to, and their capacity to open themselves to service. I would definitely accept a man over 50 if he met all the other conditions of service to us and we proved to be compatible.

I like the idea and am open to it, subject to the same compatibility considerations as someone of any other age group.  I find partners of different ages, on the subject of just age and putting other topics aside for this answer, offer different twists to a relationship that I enjoy.  A sub much younger than me, their age can give a certain flavor to a dynamic... Same with someone near my age... Or someone older. 

I rarely connect with those much younger, not by intention just so far by the randomness of life.  Often my friends and my subs tend to be a minimum of 5 years older than me, not uncommonly 10 years or so. 

I'm especially interested in sometime having a femdom relationship with a male sub 60 or over... with the type of person I'd be compatible with of that age group, the age difference would likely add a fun-for-me twist to things.

My slaveboy is well past 50. I absolutely adore him, and I'm glad he's so much older than I am because youth just has never attracted Me.

For those of you who are over 50: I think if you see your age as an asset, that attitude is likely to rub off. Confidence is very alluring, at any age!

I am open to a mix of ages, however, given that I am looking for a sub to be physically capable of doing chores and acting as a roadie, it would have to be a fit 50+ (with no back problems unlike Master and I!) or a younger one!

I prefer mature submissive males.  I really don't want one that could be mistaken for my son, LOL.

What do You seek for in older males, Lady Hibiscus? i ask from curiosity just in case i miss something that might make me better at that age. Of course i get (almost) nobody wants a slave whose body is out of shape, but what else?

It totally depends on two things for me. 1) Our connections and 2) what the Universe (higher power) tells me to do.

My girl is in her 50s. I'm in my late 30s. We have a strong spiritual connection...plus we just like each other. We both have other people in our lives that fill needs that we can't meet for each other (like sex). It works for us.

I've never had an older sub.  Not that I would reject one, just never had the opportunity present itself.  I have had several much older lovers.  When I was 20 something and I ran off for a Con-Fling with a friend in his early 60's, he was the first one to run a thumb up my ass!  Whoo Hoo!  Changed my love life!  (Where is Mal when someone is talking about ass play?)

I go by the person most of the time.  I need them to be amusing, healthy, and gotta have compatibility.

My general limits are no one younger than my oldest child, or older than my youngest parent..... but there have been, and will be again, exceptions.

I've never had an older sub.  All of them have been younger, with the exception of clip, who is a mere few months older than Me.

Whether I would consider one or not would depend entirely on the individual.

I have found the answers so far very encouraging.  I guess there is life after 40!  My guess would have been that women would want younger slaves (that is from what I have read), but it is good to know that us old guys still can be in demand.

My youngest sub is 41 and my oldest sub is 67...The sub I used for the photos in my Yahoo group is 55...

My grandpa used to say.. your only as old as the girl your holdin.. Age isnt as important as chemistry and compatability... but there is the visa versa.. some submissives are looking for Charlize Theron in leather.. and that is thier bias..

I am laughing at the number of older men perving me since I posted on this thread!

I don't look for anything different in an older man, I just prefer older men, especially in these days when youth is swept up in the culture of entitlement.  I look for someone mature, kind, intelligent, independent, devoted, and masochistic.  There's other things, too, but they are not qualities that a person can acquire.

We prefer men close in age to us, for reasons of compatability - not only in our interests, but in what we are looking for.  Just like in anything else, everyone has their own preferences.
