I wonder whether there is a relationship between someone's weight and fridge size. Weight of course is proportional to volume.

In my old house (phoenix house) I had a HUGE fridge and a HUGE full sized stand up freezer that held a 1/4 cow or more.  I used buy meat but the 1/4.  There were 6 of us that lived there, me, 2 moms and 3 kids.  We sometimes fed 8 for lunch because I worked out of my home office and my coworker and his slave would be there for lunch sometimes.  We had as many as 14 for dinner parties at times.

My current place (petticoat junction) is a modest 2 bedroom home near the water and a regular fridge seems to fit the bill nicely.  I don’t have a huge poly family anymore.

you also have to take into consideration whether or not the fridge is full. I rent, so the fridge was already in the apartment, but it's a mighty struggle trying to fill it.

I have a side by side Maytag (means that the freezer is on the left and the fridge is on the right) and according to the sticker on the inside the dimensions are this:

Width 32 3/4 inches
Height 68 1/8 inches
Depth 35 inches

Total Volume 24.7 cubic feet.  (Or did you just want the total volume for the fridge part?)

Now I am 5 feet and 2.5 inches tall and weigh about 115.

If there were no shelves, you could fit at least 3 of me in there or possibly 4.

I have no idea if this info helps.

I measure my fridge in cubic inches, not in how much of my body it can hold...what a strange thread!

But, my fridge is rather small, and filled with produce and fresh meat. I'm overweight. If I get a bigger fridge will I lose weight?

I do not know. If you carry it around all day, you might. If you do get a bigger fridge, please tell me about the effects either way or not at all.

So far it seems like the only thing you can tell from this poll is that people aren't happy with what they have.

Hm, the only thing i measure in 'bodies' are car trunks

If i scrunch up, i could probably fit in just the fridge portion. If i removed the separation between the fridge and the freezer (top freezer) i could put in a seat, computer, and LCD monitor and be rockin'. And i'm a big fatass.

i can move the fridge, and i could probably haul it up onto my back with the right rigging, but i sure couldn't carry it far.

My wife and I are not small people.  Either of us could squeeze into the freezer in the garage, but not the side by side in the kitchen.  Please factor in though, that we got both from the estate sale of short, scrawny, old people.  Both would have fit in either machine.

If you are inspired to further study, we both like frozen margaritas, and other adult-type beverages with ice.  There is an ice dispenser on the refrigerator.

My polls always have scientific purpose, everhope. Unfortunately polls such as this one only get a bit reliable provided that at least one hundred votes have been collected. And then there is always the danger that a diligent moderator wrecks the science by pulling the thread, as happened to my very successful fat poll the other year.
