I know that this is going to sound completely crazy but has anyone been in the sub role and another sub approached them to play that Dom role? I have been approached as such and have actually found it working, so far. I think it's only because he's more submissive than I am.

Or because you enjoy dominating certain people while you are submissive to others. People call it being a "switch".. Otherwise all submissive people do not turn into dominants as soon as they are approached by a person more submissive than they are :) Enjoy Hermes

I am a slave to my Owner... and to some people I am submissive. To other people I am Dominant, and have played with subs as a Top. Its only recently I ahve started to Top ... but I like it ... and look forward to enjoying more. For me is about personal power ... some people ahve more than me .. I interact with them submissively. The rest have less than me, to them I behave Dominantly.

I enjoy topping, I like controlling how a sub enters subspace, and walking her through what she will experience when there (slight hypno fetish over here), I also like letting go and being evilly sadistic. But then, I switch. Happily. It's a different rush on the top to on the bottom.

Mmm, subbie with a sub. Steak and cheese....yum. Anyways, yes, I've been approached in real life. I considered playing domina for a while, but the thought really isn't that appealing to me, and I know eventually I'd get super-frustrated that I was doing all the fun things to him that I wanted to have done to me! I've also been approached numerous times online, which always reeks of complete desperation. Not a hell of a lot of things more attractive than a malesub sending me e-mails that essentially boil down to "Any woman is good enough for me".

What's your concern? You're not doing anything wrong. Not like you have any honor besmirched by Topping. You may like it, you may not. Try it and see. And it doesn't demean you as a person or as a submissive if you like it and continue doing it.

Yup. I'm an alpha personality. The person that I'm submissive to is someone that is more alpha than myself. I enjoy topping others.

I was approached by someone who's original profile indicated they were switch, then it's been changed to Dom. I am submissive, with no tendancies to switch, yet he expects me to do this.....to the point where it's all been for him, and I get no satisfaction out of it. It does absolutely nothing for me to spank someone, or try to be Dominant...in the lifestyle setting, it just doesn't work! I did it because it's what he wanted, but again, it did nothing to trip my trigger, and I was left seriously wanting. Total bummer!

I get a lot of emails asking me to consider it. Nope. I have no interest in dominating anyone. Took a moth out of the house last night by its powdery wings and then apologized to it....sheesh

Actually it's not uncommon for subs to also enjoy and be good at topping. Slightly less common for subs to also be dominant and want to have a sub of their own- but certainly not that out there.
