The videos were shot with already popped pop corn dropped on the table and the kernals EDITED OUT...giving the impression that the phones are popping the corn.

The video was created by the sellers of Bluetooth and the ad guy showed the video being made on CNN.  It was a joke!

Just because we use the slang term "nuke" when we microwave something does not mean that nuclear radiation has anything to do with it.  The water and the food do NOT get radioactive.

To do a proper experiment with seed growing each sample should contain many seeds...not just a few.  In any packet of seeds there will be a percentage that will not germinate.  If you happen to use them they will not grow for any water supply.  It has nothing to do with how the water is heated and cooled.  Microwaving does not change what is in the water or its molecular makeup, only how hot it is.

A 1/4 watt is 1/4 watt.  You will find an earphone extension on all my cell phones because I am not going to slow cook my brain.  You couldn’t get me to put one of those next to my head for love nor money.  Do you realize how much power it takes to broadcast?  For those of you that are skeptics about the very real and probable dangers, just keep in mind that they sell cigarettes to the public also.

200milliwatts max power for CDMA phones.  If you're near the cell, it will be lower power.

I also hope that you don't carry it in a hip holster or anywhere near your body either, radiation is radiation & can enter anywhere...

MasterRenegade77 -> RE: Popcorn & Cell Phones (8/7/2008 10:24:13 AM)

I do know the difference & we all use nuked as slang around here for microwaving...
Do your own tests using as Many different containers of seeds as you wish the results will be the same...

Radio waves are all around you even if you don't have a radio on your hip (in your pocket, etc) to pick them up.

A cell phone is just a two-way radio.  When you transmit you produce radio waves that are a little stronger but the duration is short and doesn't  add that much to the radio waves that are always around you.

If you have anything wireless in your house you have increased the radio waves around you.
A wireless computer mouse sends out radio waves.
Your computer on a wireless router sends out radio waves.
Your remote car door opener sends out radio waves.
Your automatic garage door opener sends out radio waves.
Your TV remote sends out radio waves.
Even a Bluetooth sends out radio waves to carry the cell phone radio waves the short distance to your ear.

The sun sends out radio waves.

You can not escape radio waves.

Ah but you can, I own an Tesla Electro-Magnetic Radiation shield that I wear around My neck Constantly...
In fact you can see it in My photo here...

The microwave was found in the 20's. These were found by a set of army men on their radio when one set his food on the radio and it got warm. He started  asking questions why.  It took a few years to find out why.

Actually, it was during WWII.  There were no devices capable of working at microwave frequencies until the war.  For a short history, Wiki's got the right story (I've heard it in other sources)
"Cooking food with microwaves was discovered by Percy Spencer while building magnetrons for radar sets at Raytheon. He was working on an active radar set when he noticed that a peanut chocolate bar he had in his pocket started to melt. The radar had melted his candy bar with microwaves. The first food to be deliberately cooked with Spencer's microwave was popcorn, and the second was an egg, which exploded in the face of one of the experimenters.[1] To verify his theory, Spencer created a high density electromagnetic field by feeding microwave power into a metal box which it had no way to escape. When food was placed in the box with the microwave energy, the temperature of the food rose rapidly."

Thinks NikolaTesla was alot further ahead of us & smarter as well but then you'll believe what you will...
There are none so blind as he who will not see...
Good Luck
