As you know dancing has implications in life.

Status: offline 		I've been to groups at the high school before the kids graduated.  They outlawed dirty dancing at school dances.

We outlawed it.  In reality should we have?  I don't know.  If a person talks to their children and the children understand the implications then what do they have to worry about?

Yet, if you don't.  Well as others told us dirty dancing could lead to something else.  They don't like the grinding that bothers people.

Yet in our context schools had to make a choice.  So, I feel we were right.  As a law for the entire country..which usually is one state in this country.  I don't know.  If you outlaw it people will do it more.  Aside from that does dancing hurt anyone?

Status: offline 		Dancing should be strictly errm restricted to those with a dance licence. IMOSVHO.
 
In fact when you consider the number of deaths attributed to dancing each year, you'll see a dance licence is the only sensible direction we should take on this issue.
 
Sure them liberal types will declare that dancing should not be restricted this way and that it is the thin edge of the wedge to a totalitarian society. I say yes if we can licence it we can tax it.

Status: offline 		Raechard has a very good point here.  Another thing we need to consider, aside from the deaths attributed to dancing every year (which if you look at the statistics, that number is rising at an alarming rate!), is "what's best for the children".  Now I know that there are a lot of people who think that most limitations are somehow traced back to some child safety issue, but our children's safety is NOT something we can compromise.  Sure, I remember growing up never wearing a seatbelt and surviving a few collisions unscathed, or living in a house that had lead paint (the military knew then that thermal imaging is blocked by lead paint) but decided not to chip off paint or bricks to chew on.  Besides, this whole dancing thing has gotten WAY out of control.  The last thing we need is a bunch of freethinkers in control of their own bodies.  First its the Cha Cha, then the Lambada, and before you know it, we've got terrorist cells forming in little pockets all over our nation that's devoted to freedom, and we can't have that!  Of course, in a free market society, consumers will decide whether or not the tax is too heavy, based on their consumption of it.

Indeed, this is becoming THE pivotal issue in the upcoming election. The next presidential candidate debate: Dance Off! (oh, I can see it now... think of the ratings!!)

Status: offline 		as the Resident jingly dancing girl of course it should. i dance anywhere i hear music that moves me. i've joined belly dancing troupes at festivals , dance throught the sprinklers (to the delight of my male neighbors.), dance under a full moon skyclad, danced in the rain during a hot summer day. it will be a sad day when i will no longer be able to dance .
i'm finally a rebel with a cause!!!!!!
