I get contacted by women and couples, in spite of my profile repeatedly having it listed that my interest is in a single man. I too have it listed that my interest is toward "local" men only, and have it listed in my journal that any e-mail from outside the area will be immediately deleted. I don't even bother to open an e-mail from outside of metro Detroit (unless it's from someone on the Message Boards, responding privately). Most of the time I'll delete the e-mails from women too, but sometimes consider they may have general questions for me, versus the majority type of contacts.

Most of the time, when women or couples contact me, they say the same thing the married men say..."Well, I thought I'd get you to change your mind." Weak minded that I am.

I don't really think it's always possible to understand the WHY people do the things they do.
It's always fun to TRY to figure it out, although it won't make them change their behavior.
Best to just take the parts you need, like, and want, and move on.
Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason.
My own profile is pretty specific as to what i'm looking for,
and i've still gotten some of the most outrageous notes, lol.
People are people.
No worries,
it's all good.

It certainly isn't just sub men, because i get plenty of mail from Doms even with what my profile says. They even say they read it. i have a nice polite reply that i send to them.

Sub men may out number sub women, and i think it is harder for them to find what they are looking for. Master says He has seen Domme's with 4 or 5 on leashes, and has seen them spanking each other at parties.

Perhaps they feel it is worth a try, and maybe they are not looking for anything sexual. Sir has topped males before in a non sexual way as He is straight. He says "males need their butts beat too."

i guess W/we all get emails from people and look at them shaking O/our heads saying "now why did they mail me." It is just part of it all. my favorites are the ones from male subs/slaves asking if i would considering being Domme.

Personally I'm glad when someone tells me what they are and are not seeking. Still, it is odd to hear people complaining about getting email from men, out of state, etc. people in their journals and the like when the mail filters let you easily block those people from sending if that is indeed a "hard limit"

well, a couple observations. I have talked to a few of these who put the no men, no men, no cocks, no cocks and several hundred journal entries about the what is it you guys don't get......

Usually the resounding whine there, that I have recieved when I get reply to the this is how you use the block button... is that, "Well, I shouldn't have to..." . These are the type that in my mind, are playing the woe is me I am so misunderstood card, the everybody wants me card, the help and rescue me card, in fact the whole shitty deck.

HOWEVER;

I have talked to others that might say something on the order of "Women only please," and maybe as much as one rant in an otherwise pleasant journal....

Their response is usually, yes, but I get a great deal of men posing as women.... for them I apologize on behalf of the clueless, who are damned to always remain so...

Now being the glorious man/pig, dog whatever-- that I am I have always wanted to try lesbianism.

Now, I admit I don't know much about it, but it would seem to me that it is an alternative form of sexuality in which two or more women interact...

This leads me to believe that if your packaging is not correct, you would be found out in an instant by a casual visual inspection, and so having wasted time, gas money or airfare or anything else in a futile attempt at deception for a wanking purpose is just.... well, unreasonable.

It don't matter how I couch this...it will continue and no lightbulbs will light, anywhere in the world.....
