Who are you voting for?

candystripper -> RE: The CollarMe Vote (8/6/2008 4:08:02 PM)

Obama...as much as it pains me.  I still feel there's a modest difference between he and McCain on the troops coming home.

you forgot to put in none of the above.  i really hate to say it but i think my late grandfather would agree, there's nobody worth voting for.

Obama.  I'm concerned that he may spend too much (though not as much as Bush), but we need a clean break from the Bush policies.  And I believe that he will extricate us from Iraq sooner then McCain.  Despite what Bush and McCain say, the situation in Iraq seems to be changing month to month and I'm not sure we'll ever see a clear victory there.

TheHeretic -> RE: The CollarMe Vote (8/6/2008 5:40:13 PM)

Undecided.  Which means both the majors need to get busy addressing my concerns unless they want me to vote Stone/Parker when I go cast my "no" on 8.

In my book politicians are worthless lot only in it for themselves...

corsetgirl -> RE: The CollarMe Vote (8/6/2008 5:52:57 PM)

T. Boone Pickens but he is not running for president.  However, I have watched him on the TV ads telling us that he has a way of providing alternative energy resources such as using wind turbines to decrease the dependency that we have on foreign oil.  He is probably as a old as John McCain but hey, I figure he may have more common sense.

petdave -> RE: The CollarMe Vote (8/6/2008 6:14:19 PM)

Even though i think he was a poor choice for the nomination, i have to go with the Libertarian candidate.

i'm impressed that you've managed to turn up some candidates that even i haven't heard of! [:-]

Lumus -> RE: The CollarMe Vote (8/6/2008 6:16:13 PM)

Where's Jack Layton?

*sad*

how about an undecided button? i haven't had time to sit down and actually read anything yet about any of them, when i do have free time i'm working on my  master's or doing laundry or going to the docs, such as my sad life is currently.

I have to agree, where is the undecided button.  Or can we make the poll like Chicago, and I get to vote for more than one? [8D]

shivermetimbers -> RE: The CollarMe Vote (8/6/2008 11:15:48 PM)

Ron Paul devotees know he's the best candidate. Ron Paul devotees actually know the specifics of his platform. Ron Paul for president.

Next time, put the best person for the job in the poll!!!!

JulieorSarah -> RE: The CollarMe Vote (8/7/2008 1:38:07 AM)

i can't not a US citizen ... i only know of the first two, and i'm not fussed on either of them ...
however i'd research all of them then decide, and definitely vote.

soul2share -> RE: The CollarMe Vote (8/7/2008 8:13:03 AM)

The lesser of two evils...I just haven't figured out which one that is yet.....if McCain wins, I'm seriously thinking of emigrating to Canada!!!!  But I'm concerned about Obama's lack of experience.....a weekend jaunt around the world isn't going to bring him up to speed on world affairs......or I may just write in Hilary......MWAH!

You may not have to write her name in... the roll call vote at the convention could change that. [;)]

Right now, the only sure thing is I won't be voting for McCain. Any other determinations will be made after running mates are selected and I have a chance to research them myself.

You  suuuuuuuuuuuuure about that?

We set a ban in place last weekend.  Cats are being systematically ousted or destroyed as part of a creative measure by the government to lower infant mortality.

Very interesting stuff, you know.  Rain was upset about it, poor thing.

Well there is one sure thing about running mates... John Edwards is not going to be one.
